Chelsea vs Arsenal Ultimate Bet Builder Tip
Bukayo Saka to score or assist
The looming return of Martin Odegaard should help out Bukayo Saka, who has been carrying the creative burden for Arsenal. A little more space can held Saka build on some impressive numbers this term, with the winger scoring three goals and making seven assists in nine appearances this term.
Similar to how Saka blew by Andy Robertson against Liverpool recently, I like his chances of causing early issues for out of position Reece James who is still working his way back to full fitness.
Nicolas Jackson 1+ shot on target
Jackson didn’t get on the scoresheet against Manchester United, but he extended his good shot on target returns at Old Trafford. The forward is showing impressive growth year-on-year after a strong finish to last season with the Blues and he’s had at least one shot on target in every Premier League game so far this term.
Jackson faces a clear test against the Gunners, but he has netted against Liverpool and Newcastle in the Blues’ last three league games and the forward is worth backing for another effort at goal.
Gabriel Magalhaes 1+ shot on target
For all the growth Chelsea have made as a team, they remain noticeably small across the pitch. You’d imagine Arsenal plan to target that from set pieces, especially through Gabriel. The defender has scored at the Etihad and the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this term and it won’t be hard for the Gunners to work a corner routine that pits Gabriel against an outmatched opponent in Blue.
Malo Gusto to be carded
Gusto has yet to complete a game without making a foul this season and the defender was booked in a 45-minute appearance at Old Trafford last weekend.
This tip is a play on Paddy Power’s Super Sub offer, which sees your bet roll over to the substitute when the player you back is taken off. In the previous two Premier League games, Gusto has been withdrawn for Marc Cucurella.
The Spaniard was booked home and away against Arsenal last season and he made two fouls in the Euro 2024 final against England. Facing Saka has been tough for Cucurella so far and given that he’s expected to sub in for Gusto once more, getting essentially 23/10 on either player to be booked really appeals.
Moises Caicedo to make 2+ fouls
Caicedo and Declan Rice have been pitted against each other in comparisons for over a year now, but the tide is turning towards the Ecuadorian. Caicedo’s performances have been on the up since early this year but he’s been fantastic under Enzo Maresca, although he does still have an issue with fouling.
Caicedo has made at least two fouls in his last five Premier League games. He made three at Old Trafford last week and two at Anfield, while he also committed a couple in their league opener at home to Man City. With Odegaard’s return considered, Caicedo to make two or more fouls looks like a good bet to cap off our bet builder tip.
