However, the Reds’ shoddy defensive displays in recent weeks suggest they may be vulnerable in the Champions League and the FA Cup.

I think it’s going to be tricky for Liverpool to pick up more than one this season and that is likely to be the Premier League. The FA Cup and Champions League will be hugely dependent on the draw and I’d prefer Arsenal in the EFL Cup.

I think it will be a Premier League and League Cup double in Arne Slot’s first campaign.
A six-point lead with a game in hand puts them in a strong position in the league and the title race might impact Champions League and FA Cup hopes later in the season.
