One again it was another busy night in the National Hockey League. A total of 9 games were played on Saturday night and out of those 9 games, six of them went into Overtime and four of them were decided on penalties. In the first leg of the acca, our tipsters backed Carolina +1.5 Puck Line as the Hurricanes were on the road against a tough Ottawa Senators team. Carolina got off to a decent start by winning the first period with 1:0 and it was looking good for our tip. The hosts woke up in the 2nd period and managed to level the score, which meant we were going into a decisive 3rd period in which Carolina had the luxury of losing by 1 goal and our tip would still win. And they did just that… in an evenly matched final period of the game, Ottawa took the lead late through Turris and while Carolina tried everything to level the score and failed in the end, it didn’t matter for our tip as we had a +1.5 handicap bet on them. Leg one of the Acca was in!
On we go to the 2nd and 3rd leg of our accumulator. Both games were highly contested between the teams playing and eventually went into Overtime and were decided on penalties. Luck was definitely on our side here, it doesn’t often happen that you have multiple penalty shootout winners on your Accumulator! In the 4th leg of the acca, our tipsters went with Montreal to win at Detroit and although it was a tricky game with the Canadiens being down in the 3rd period, they managed to level things late and eventually win it in overtime for us. That meant we had 1 leg remaining on our accumulator.
Chicago was away at Los Angeles and our tipsters went with a safer option of +1.5 Puck Line on the Blackhawks. The visitors were off to a solid start as they took the lead through Patrick Kane midway through the first period. Los Angeles replied as soon as the 2nd period started and with no more goals scored in the match, the game eventually went into overtime which meant we could start celebrating our Acca winner! In the Overtime, the Kings scored the winning goal, but it didn’t matter as our tip had already landed!
All in all, it was a very profitable night as our tipsters managed to land the 6/1 ACCA + Double for a total profit of £123.88 for the night on NHL tips!
