March has begun and for many punters that means one thing: Cheltenham Festival is just around the corner.
Running from Tuesday, 14th March to Friday, 17th March, Cheltenham Festival is one of the biggest betting events of the year and even those with little interest in horse racing love to get in on the action across the four-day event.
With that in mind, we’ve teamed up with the excellent tipsters over at myracing.com to bring you a couple of tasty accumulators. The team at myracing will be covering the festival in great detail with daily Cheltenham tips so I would urge you to check them out.
myracing’s 6/1 & 79/1 Cheltenham accas
Both of myracing’s Cheltenham accumulators are best placed with bet365. If you are a new bet365 customer, you can get £50 in free bets when you bet £10 below!
The first three legs for myracing’s 6/1 accumulator are shown below:
Jonbon to win the Arkle Chase (Tuesday, 14:10)
Too much was made of his last outing where he got the job done and was never going to be pushed too hard under the circumstances. He won’t be concerned about the ground, had the beating of the current fav, El Fabiolo, last season and will be very hard to pass if getting into his rhythm in front.
Constitution Hill to win the Champion Hurdle (Tuesday, 15:30)
Having already landed four Grade 1’s by a combined 63 lengths, Nicky Henderson could have an all time great on his hands. His 5 runs under rules have already seen him marked with an official rating of 173 and, granted a clear round, the others shouldn’t get anywhere near him.
Delta Work to win the Cross Country Chase (Wednesday, 16:10)
Defeated the mighty Tiger Roll in last year’s renewal before going on to finish third in the Grand National. Returned this season with a win at Punchestown and ran a belter off top weight when third to Back On The Lash here in January. His run in the Boyne Hurdle last time out looked nothing more than a prep for March and, off level weights, it’s hard to see what can beat him here.
Add these two legs if you’d prefer to back myracing’s longer shot on the 79/1 mega accumulator:
Edwardstone to win the Champion Chase (Wednesday, 15:30)
Current favourite, Energumene, has questions to answer on the likely sound surface that he’ll encounter on the Wednesday and blotted his copybook more so than the selection last time out. Edwardstone, last year’s Arkle winner, has a mixture of foot perfect jumping, travels strongly and boasts a wicked turn of foot, all of the attributes required to win a Champion Chase.
Blazing Khal to win the Stayers’ Hurdle (Thursday, 15:30)
After a 428-day injury-enforced absence, Blazing Khal bounced back to bolt up at Navan on his return in February. He has since had a minor setback but his trainer seems confident that he’s on course to take his place in the Stayers’ Hurdle. Boasting a 100% win record at Cheltenham and with his latest performance fresh in the mind, the bookies have him as a worthy favourite for the ultimate test for staying hurdlers.
