Best live football on TV with 79/1 accumulator

Before becoming a Sports Journalist for Free Super Tips, Aaron spent three years studying Sports Journalism at the University of Sunderland while taking in the Black Cats' 'glory years' under Martin O'Neill. Now back in Northern Ireland he turns niche stats into predictions for FST, while he's one of the few people on this island who is equally comfortable at Windsor Park and the Aviva.

The Champions League may be off this week, but there’s plenty of top European action to fill the void. The next seven days cover some big clashes in the run-in across the continent’s biggest competitions.

With so much football to choose from, we’ve done you a favour and picked out the best game from each day’s action. Below are our seven TV picks, with a betting tip on each which gives us a 79/1 accumulator tip.

You can see our seven selections and accumulator below, while we have more accumulators in our football betting tips page.

FST’s TV Picks Accumulator

Leeds vs Liverpool

Where to watch: Sky Sports Main Event

When these two sides last met they played out a 4-3 thriller. With Liverpool struggling at the back and Leeds coming off a huge win, we expect another great game. The Reds have won only six of their last 17 league games, while Leeds have picked up three wins on the spin. Expect them to take the game to the champions and come out on top.

Betting tip: Leeds double chance

Chelsea vs Brighton

Where to watch: Sky Sports Main Event

Chelsea are back in action on Tuesday night, with the Blues looking to take out Brighton to move back into the Champions League spots. They should pull that off with ease, given that they’ve won their last six at home to the Seagulls. The visitors have lost six of seven meetings with the top five and we back that to continue.

Betting tip: Chelsea win

Crotone vs Sampdoria

Where to watch: Premier Sports 2

Crotone are seemingly doomed to Serie B, but their games are usually open. Six of their last seven have seen at least four goals scored, while the hosts have lost 12 of their last 13 league outings. Sampdoria are fresh from a 3-1 win over Verona and we see them punishing a poor Crotone side.

Betting tip: Sampdoria win

Roma vs Atalanta

Where to watch: Premier Sports 1

Atalanta saw off Juventus on Sunday, meaning they’ve now won nine of their last 10 Serie A matches. They are a brilliant side to watch on top form, so expect a thriller with Roma’s home games averaging 3.2 goals per game. However, the hosts have lost six of their nine clashes with the top six.

Betting tip: Atalanta win

Reims vs Marseille

Where to watch: BT Sport 3

Marseille have a fight on their hands for a European place, while this trip is difficult for them. Reims have gone nine games without defeat and they’ve been beaten once in 12 at home. Marseille have leaked two or more goals in their last four away trips, so we expect them to falter in an entertaining clash.

Betting tip: Reims double chance

West Ham vs Chelsea

Where to watch: Sky Sports Main Event

It’s a big week for Chelsea, who continue their Champions League chase against the side who start the week in fourth. Thomas Tuchel has turned the Blues into a solid unit, but West Ham are going about things in a very different way. Their last four games have finished 3-3, 2-3, 3-2 and 3-2 so expect an entertaining battle for fourth.

Betting tip: Both teams to score

Lyon vs Lille

Where to watch: BT Sport 2

This showdown in the Ligue 1 title race wraps up a busy week. Lyon are favoured at home to the league leaders, but they’ve won just three of seven at home to the top 10. Meanwhile, Lille have lost only once on their travels this season and they’ve won nine of their last 10 Ligue 1 trips.

Betting tip: Lille double chance
