Now back in Northern Ireland he turns niche stats into predictions for FST, while he's one of the few people on this island who is equally comfortable at Windsor Park and the Aviva.

Arsenal won the first Premier League game of 2025 when they beat Brentford on New Year’s Day, lifting them back into second. Now the Gunners can cut Liverpool’s lead at the top to just three points in this visit to Brighton.

We’ve backed Mikel Arteta’s men to boost their title hopes in our Brighton vs Arsenal predictions. However, I’ve delved into some more markets to produce this 35/1 Ultimate Bet Builder tip.

Brighton vs Arsenal Ultimate Bet Builder

Gabriel Jesus to score anytime

Arsenal have had issues in the final third this season, but Gabriel Jesus has given them a jolt of late. The Brazilian has scored six times across his last four appearances, a run which can continue in this visit to the Amex.

With Kai Havertz expected to miss out and Bukayo Saka facing a long spell on the sidelines, Jesus should take on an even bigger role for the Gunners. He takes on a Brighton side who have been far too poor at the back, so back Jesus to exploit that.

David Raya to make 3+ saves

Brighton’s aggressive approach could play into Arsenal and Gabriel Jesus’s hands, but the Seagulls should also get plenty of joy going forward. Brighton like to flood forward and they’ve managed at least four shots on target across their last five matches.

The Seagulls have seen opposition goalkeepers make 64 saves across their 19 matches so far. That includes Raya, who made three stops when these two sides met at the Emirates. Back the goalkeeper to be key for the Gunners again.

Jan Paul van Hecke to be carded

Brighton’s defence is stronger when van Hecke features in it, so the Seagulls will be glad that he made it through 19 matches without incurring a suspension for a fifth yellow card. He has been cautioned four times across the campaign, including home meetings with both Manchester clubs.

Now that he’s no longer walking a disciplinary tightrope, back him to pick up a fifth caution of the campaign in this clash with the Gunners.

Thomas Partey to make 2+ fouls

Arsenal’s Thomas Partey will be tasked with keeping Georginio Rutter quiet, with the former Leeds man playing a key role as Brighton’s number 10. The Frenchman has drawn 27 fouls this term, so expect him to cause problems for Partey.

Given that Partey has made the second-most fouls for Arsenal in the league this term, the midfielder is worth backing for another couple in this trip. With Joao Pedro likely to drop deep and cause problems for the holding midfielder too, back Partey to foul twice or more.
