Crystal Palace vs Brentford

The opening game of Super Sunday features a Crystal Palace side that appear to have finally hit their stride. When they started the campaign at Brentford in August there was a lot of expectation around the Eagles, but it’s taken them some time to click this season.

Their good recent run of late owes a lot to the form of Eberechi Eze. The midfielder has either scored or assisted in each of his last five appearances, netting in home clashes with Southampton and Stockport County. Given Brentford’s struggles on their travels, Eze’s fine run can continue.

Tottenham vs Leicester

Tottenham’s midweek win in Hoffenheim was a real boost for Ange Postecoglou, as is Sunday’s clash with Leicester. The Foxes are in dire form and they’ve shipped 27 goals across 10 league trips, so expect them to struggle to deal with a Spurs side who are undoubtedly impressive going forward.

Dejan Kulusesvki has been fantastic for Spurs this term, chipping in with six goals and four assists in the Premier League. The Swede has six goal contributions in 10 starts at home, so he can cause problems for the Foxes. Kulusevski is finishing well, given he has six goals from 3.4 xG in the league. His teammates are letting him down on the assists front, as he has created chances worth 5.8 xG despite his four assists.

Given the rate at which Leicester give up chances, Kulusevski is a good bet to be involved in a goal.

Aston Villa vs West Ham

Unai Emery left little doubt about his thoughts on Ollie Watkins and Jhon Duran as a strike partnership in midweek, as the Villains went down 1-0 at Monaco. Watkins is the clear starting striker, but Paddy Power’s Super Sub offer will likely cover Duran when he comes off the bench.

Watkins has scored 10 Premier League goals, assisting four more. While his side toiled in Europe in midweek, the forward had scored or assisted in four of his previous five appearances before that defeat. Fulham vs Manchester United

Ruben Amorim missed out on working with Bruno Fernandes by two months at Sporting, but he’s making up for lost time with the midfielder. Fernandes has nine combined goals and assists across his last 13 appearances, while he’s been involved in a goal in four of his last five outings.

Fulham’s success this season has come despite some issues at the back, so there’s little doubt Fernandes will get opportunities on Sunday evening.
