Aston Villa vs Swansea
Correct Score Prediction: 2-0 Swansea
Both teams are struggling for form coming into this game, but Aston Villa are looking devoid of any sort of creativity. I just can’t see them getting a goal from anywhere but a Rudy Gestede head, but the stern Swansea defence should be able to deal with the irregularly threatening Villa. I think Swansea will take this opportunity to get their first win in six Premier League games, so 2-0 looks good to me.
Leicester vs Crystal Palace
Correct Score Prediction: 2-2 Draw
Both teams are in excellent form coming into this, and with Leicester it just never looks like they are going to lose. But Palace will be a tough test for them as the teams battle it out for a European position in the league. I’m expecting a high scoring game between these two in form sides, but I just can’t pick a winner so I think a 2-2 draw makes sense.
Norwich vs West Brom
Correct Score Prediction: 1-0 West Brom
Norwich are coming into this game on the back of a crushing 6-2 defeat against Newcastle last weekend, and the low confidence that must be in their ranks will give West Brom the opportunity to get a win. They have been good defensively when they’re on top of the opposition, and all of their wins have been by one goal to nil so far this season.
Stoke vs Watford
Correct Score Prediction: 1-0 Stoke
Stoke have managed to put together a good winning streak over the past few weeks and will be confident of getting a win against a Watford side who haven’t kept a clean sheet in a month and have started struggling in front of goal again. But Stoke haven’t been massively impressive up front either, and struggle to score many goals. I think 1-0 is the most likely outcome for this game on Saturday.
West Ham vs Chelsea
Correct Score Prediction: 2-1 West Ham
The struggling champions won’t be looking forward to a trip to Upton Park. West Ham have already beaten Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester City this season and have shown time and time again that they know how to perform against the big teams. I think they can get another impressive win against the out of form Chelsea, and 2-1 looks to be the most likely scoreline.
Arsenal vs Everton (17:30)
Correct Score Prediction: 3-0 Arsenal
Arsenal managed to end German giants Bayern Munich’s perfect start to the season in midweek when they put in a dogged performance to win 2-0. This comes after they managed to demolish Manchester United 3-0 and beat Watford by the same scoreline. Also seeing a 3-0 scoreline were Everton, but they were on the wrong end of it as they lost comprehensively at home to Manchester United. I’m expecting Arsenal to continue their excellent form with another good performance on Saturday, so another 3-0 win for them looks like a good backing.
