Leicester vs Watford
Correct Score Prediction: 3-1 Leicester
Leicester have only lost one match all season and have shown time and time again that they have the quality to win any match they play in. Defensively they are poor, so I think Watford can get a goal after netting four in their last two games and with Odion Ighalo in good form. Overall though I think the likes of Riyad Mahrez and Jamie Vardy will be too much for the visitors and I expect them to bag a few.
Manchester United vs West Brom
Correct Score Prediction: 1-0 Man Utd
Tony Pulis’ teams are renowned for being tough to beat, and West Brom are no exception. They have a stern defence that doesn’t let much through, but at Old Trafford I think something will find it’s way into the West Brom net. Manchester United haven’t been great in front of goal recently though, so I’m not expecting many goals in this one. A 1-0 win for the hosts looks like a good bet.
Norwich vs Swansea
Correct Score Prediction: 2-1 Norwich
Both Norwich and Swansea come into this game in poor form, but they will both think that they have an excellent chance of winning this one. Both sides’ defences have been poor in recent weeks and Norwich’s attack hasn’t failed to find the net on many occasions. I think the home advantage will push Norwich on to get a crucial three points on Saturday, but Swansea won’t go down without a fight.
Sunderland vs Southampton
Correct Score Prediction: 3-1 Southampton
Sunderland’s overall form has been beyond awful so far this season. Their defence leaks goals like a sieve, as is evident by their 6-2 loss to Everton last weekend. However, they do tend to find the back of the net more often than not so I don’t think Southampton will keep a clean sheet. But Graziano Pelle, Sadio Mane, and Dusan Tadic are all in good form going forward so I’m expecting them to put a few past the struggling home side.
West Ham vs Everton
Correct Score Prediction: 2-2 Draw
Everton will be high on confidence after their 6-2 thrashing of Sunderland last weekend and they know that West Ham are poorer at Upton Park than they are on the road. Everton have also performed better away from home this season, and West Ham struggle to win against anyone other than the top teams. I’m expecting a close match full of goals on Saturday, so a 2-2 draw looks like a good prediction.
Stoke vs Chelsea (17:30)
Correct Score Prediction: 2-1 Stoke
Stoke have already shown they have what it takes to capitalise on the Premier League champions’ poor form this season with their penalty win over them in the Capital One Cup. They arguably deserved to win that game in normal time, but I’m expecting them to make amends in that respect on Saturday. They are in good form at the moment coming up against a Chelsea side who have lost five of their last seven in all competitions. A 2-1 win for the home side is my best prediction for this game.
