Carabao Cup delight as we land 24/1 Spurs vs Man Utd Bet Builder!

The Carabao Cup quarter-finals drew to a close on Thursday night with a cracker in north London as Tottenham won a seven-goal thriller to book their place in the final four, but it wasn’t the match result we were interested in after putting together a tasty 24/1 Bet Builder the day before.
Using Paddy Power as our source for prices, I combined four selections from the player markets to deliver yet another winner in the build-up to Christmas.

Let’s take a look at the selections from Thursday’s showdown:

Things didn’t look particularly promising for our Bet Builder at kick-off as Manchester Derby star Amad Diallo started on the bench, but with a push for that leg if he didn’t feature, we were not deterred.
It took just ten minutes for our first selection to land as Lisandro Martinez’s shocking effort at goal from the first corner of the game was touted a shot, and our highest-priced selection was hot on the heels of Martinez’s effort.
Noussair Mazraoui fouled James Maddison for the free-kick that led to Spurs’ opener and was put in the book for a clumsy challenge on Pape Sarr at the 25-minute mark, with his eventually going on to commit three fouls.
After that, a long period of waiting followed as Spurs raced into a 3-0 lead without the assistance of Son Heung-min.
Our hopes of landing the full lot were boosted after the hosts’ third goal, though, as Amad Diallo replaced Antony, and 15 minutes later he repaid Ruben Amorim’s faith in him, chasing down a backpass and launching himself at Fraser Forster to block his clearance and make the scores 3-2.
Finally, two minutes from time, Son Heung-min did what everybody on the school playground always tried to do by bagging Spurs’ fourth goal straight from a corner and landing our Bet Builder!
