Check Out Our Tips For This 11/1 French Football Acca That Includes PSG, Monaco and Marseille!

After 370 Ligue 1 matches, the 2018/19 campaign is finally drawing to a close as we approach the final game week of the season. It has been another dominating season for PSG as they ran away with the league title but the better stories have come just below the summit in clubs like Lille, Nîmes and Strasbourg who have all impressed the doubters this season with incredible performances way above their expectations.

Many of the league places have already been decided but a few sides are still up in the air with relegation a looming threat for four teams that could still mathematically go down. This means that despite the summer holidays being just on the horizon, there is still a lot to fight for. We’ve picked out four of our favourite tips from the last week of the season to put into an accumulator and you can find out reasoning and the links to the full match previews below!

OGC Nice (8th) vs AS Monaco (16th)

Our first selection of the acca comes on the south coast as Monaco will travel west for the final Derby de la Côte d’Azur of the season. They face Patrick Vieira’s Nice side who have been incredible at home recently with a record that hasn’t been matched by many. They have won eight and only lost one of their last 13 league matches at the Allianz Riviera with an astonishing nine clean sheets along the way. Nice have actually been so defensively sound that they haven’t conceded more than a single goal at home in the league since September, and that was against PSG.

They host a Monaco side who have really been struggling for points this season and it looks like they have only barely booked their place in next year’s competition following their first win since March last week. Monaco have been rather poor on the road with a -7 goal difference on their away trips and as a result we’re backing them to score under 1.5 goals in this match.

Olympique Marseille (6th) vs HSC Montpellier (5th)

Our second selection comes from one of the week’s matches that is more about pride than anything else. Marseille have been rather awful at times this season, sparking many a protest in the stands and even a few inside the dressing room. They have been handed a golden chance to finish 5th though and regain some penance as a win would see them leapfrog Montpellier.

Both teams should be right up for this match though with Montpellier also keen to hold on to their 5th place spot no matter what. It would be their highest since 2011/12 so with both teams scrapping for the win, we’re backing the both teams to score market. This market has been common for the two sides with seven of Marseille’s last nine matches seeing it win and the same going for ten of Montpellier’s last 13. Both sides are rather top heavy with Marseille scoring 15 and conceding 17 in their last nine matches while Montpellier have kept just two clean sheets in their last 13 matches despite scoring 22 goals in the process. Therefore we think this fixture will see both teams score.

Stade de Reims (9th) vs Paris Saint-Germain (1st)

The champions make an appearance in our third selection of the acca as we’re backing Ángel Di María to keep up his excellent form. Neymar hasn’t always been available to Paris in recent weeks due to various injuries and suspensions but in his place Di María has been an excellent substitute. The Argentine was pretty good last season with eleven goals and six assists but he has taken it to new heights this year with a dozen goals and eleven assists, making him one of just two players to have reached ten in both categories, the other being Nicolas Pépé.

Di María had a bit of a dry patch in the middle of the season but the last few games have been very fruitful for him with his last eleven games seeing him score nine times. PSG’s opponents for this match have conceded 14 goals in their last eight games and we think the Argentine winger should have a field day here on the final day of the season. Paris have also hit some form in their last two games so they should round the season off with a win with Di María a pivotal part of that.

Stade Rennais (10th) vs LOSC Lille (2nd)

While PSG have taken a lot of the limelight in this year’s Ligue 1 campaign, one of the most incredible stories has come in 2nd place as Lille have battled back from near relegation last season to Champions League qualification this year. Les Dogues have been fantastic this season under Christophe Galtier and much of this has been down to their red hot attack. Jonathan Bamba, Jonathan Ikoné and the man on everyone’s lips Nicolas Pépé have all contributed to one of Europe’s best attacking lineups this season and we’re backing them to show that again against Rennes.

Lille have averaged 1.8 goals a game this season and with them scoring five times in three of their last six matches, they look to be closing this season with a bang. Lille have the second best away record in the league with eight wins and four draws in their last 13 on the road. They have scored 21 goals in this time and with their opponents Rennes keeping just two clean sheets in their last 13 matches, the over 1.5 team goals market in favour of Lille is what we’re going to back. Lille have scored 22 goals in their last eight games and with Rennes conceding 14 goals in their last eight games we’re backing Lille to get at least two in this match.
