Experts' Best Bets: 6 tipsters select 511/1 EFL acca for Friday!

Before becoming a Sports Journalist for Free Super Tips, Aaron spent three years studying Sports Journalism at the University of Sunderland while taking in the Black Cats' 'glory years' under Martin O'Neill. Now back in Northern Ireland he turns niche stats into predictions for FST, while he's one of the few people on this island who is equally comfortable at Windsor Park and the Aviva.

There are two rounds of EFL action across the Easter weekend, so we’ve extended our Experts’ Best Bets articles to cover each day of the long weekend.

We’ve asked six tipsters to give us their pick of the 3pm kick-offs on Friday and they’ve combined for a massive 511/1 acca, which you can back below!

511/1 Experts Accumulator Tip

Aaron Ashley

Reading vs Lincoln – Reading at 5/4 with bet365

The points are of far more importance for Reading in their League One playoff pursuit than they are for mid-table Lincoln and the Royals can strengthen their place in the top six with a home victory.

The Royals continue to go about their business despite off-field troubles and they have gone nine league games unbeaten at the Madejski Stadium, a run which includes a goalless draw with leaders Birmingham and wins to nil over second-placed Wrexham and third-placed Wycombe.

Lincoln were held to a 1-1 draw at home to rock-bottom Shrewsbury last time out and they have taken only one point from their last four road trips.

James Mason

Coventry vs West Brom – Coventry to win at 6/5 with bet365

Coventry are clinging onto the final play-off spot and they can give their top-six hopes a boost with a win over West Brom, who are one of three teams just three points behind the Sky Blues.

Frank Lampard’s side have won five of their last six matches at the CBS Arena and their tally of 12 home wins is the joint third-best record in the Championship, with only Sheffield United and Leeds securing more victories.

West Brom haven’t won an away fixture since November 10th – a run of 14 games in all competitions – and their play-off aspirations could be dealt a significant blow on Good Friday.

Jack Ogalbe

Blackburn vs Millwall – Millwall to win at 11/5 with bet365

One team always makes a late dash in the race for the Championship playoff places and Millwall might be this season’s candidates.

A run of five wins in seven has helped the Lions move onto 60 points, three adrift of the top six but four more than Friday’s hosts, Blackburn.

Rovers have had a typically rollercoaster season, beating Luton last time out to halt their eight-match streak without a victory.

The Lancashire club are without a win in four at home and improving Millwall, who won away at Sheffield United on their last road trip, could claim another vital victory to help close the gap on those above them.

Ian Wilkerson

AFC Wimbledon vs Chesterfield – Chesterfield at 9/5 with bet365

AFC Wimbledon have slipped out of the League Two top three after winning just one of their last five games and manager Johnnie Jackson will be alarmed that his team have been unable to see out games at this crucial stage of the season.

The Dons surrendered leads in draws against Barrow, Walsall and Doncaster, and they were leading in the 90th minute at Swindon before conceding two late penalties that confirmed a 2-1 defeat.

Confidence may be low and that give Chesterfield a good chance to cause a surprise.

The Spireites are four points off a playoff spot after one defeat in their last nine outings, so they have plainly not given up the ghost and while they lost 4-0 at struggling Tranmere in their last away game, they had won successive road matches at Salford, Notts County and Barrow before that, so they know how to get over the line.

Gareth Freeman

Rotherham vs Mansfield – Rotherham to win & BTTS at 7/2 with bet365

Both of these teams will probably be a little disappointed with how their seasons have panned out but Rotherham are at least showing a bit of spirit as the campaign draws to a close.

The Millers had won three in a row prior to a 3-1 defeat at promotion chasing Stockport last time out, while Mansfield have lost their last three.

Relegation is still a lingering concern for the visitors and Rotherham have little to play for aside from finishing off on a positive note. That is a slight concern but Mansfield’s recent performances do little to suggest they can get a result at the New York Stadium.

Rotherham have only managed one clean sheet in their last 13 at home and the Stags have at least been scoring – both teams have scored in six of their last seven games – so backing a home win with goals at both ends has a decent chance here.

Liam Flin

Bristol City vs Sunderland – Bristol City at 13/10 with bet365

Bristol City are serious contenders to make the Championship playoffs with four games to go and they can give themselves a major boost with victory over Sunderland.

Sunderland are already assured of a playoff berth but are also out of contention for automatic promotion, so it is the Robins who have the greater incentive to win this clash.

Bristol City have especially strong at Ashton Gate recently, reeling off three straight home wins over Norwich, Watford and West Brom and they can add the Black Cats to their list of scalps.
