Last weekend we came within a hair’s breadth of landing a huge 98/1 accumulator in our Experts’ Best Bets as five of our six selections came flying in. This Saturday we’re aiming to put the ball the right side of the post and once again we have six experts to help us along the way.
FST’s trio of Aaron Rogan, Alex Wrigley and Simon Winter – who landed four of their six combined selections last weekend – are joined by James Milton, Steve Davies and Ian Wilkerson of the Racing Post to sink their teeth into Saturday’s action.
Remember, you can find the rest of our predictions for Saturday on our football tips page.

Crotone vs Udinese – Both teams to score at 7/10
Crotone’s terrible recent form has been down to some terrible defending and at least four goals have been scored in each of their last six games. The hosts have conceded 77 goals in Serie A after 30 games, making them one of the worst defences in Europe.
However, Udinese haven’t been that solid themselves of late. Their last four away games have seen both teams score and the visitors have conceded 1.73 goals per game on the road this season. With Crotone conceding in 100% of their home games and Udinese conceding in 87% of their trips, back both teams to score here.

Wolves vs Sheffield United – Wolves to win at 4/6
Sheffield United’s relegation to the Championship could be mathematically confirmed this weekend and, barring a brief resurgence in January, The Blades have shown very little sign of pulling off one of the greatest of escapes this season.
They head to Molineux having lost their last five competitive games, conceding 14 goals along the way and scoring just a solitary one at the other end. Wolves have had a difficult season and find themselves in the anonymity of mid-table but, after beating Fulham last weekend, Nuno Espirito Santo’s goalshy team can get another three points and hope for a strong end to the campaign.

Marseille vs Lorient – Marseille to win at 11/10
Marseille have taken ten points from 12 at the Orange Vélodrome since Jorge Sampaoli took the reins, and OM can enjoy more success there when an out of sorts Lorient come to town.
Relegation candidates Lorient have won only once in 17 Ligue 1 away trips this season, and they were beaten in each of their last three encounters with Marseille.

Burton Albion vs Plymouth – Burton Albion to win at 1/1
Burton look a different team since Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink returned to the Pirelli, winning 12 of their last 18 matches with just two losses in that sequence.
Hull, Charlton, Portsmouth and Peterborough have been among Burton’s victims during this red-hot spell which suggests they can beat a Plymouth side, who would slip below them in the table with an Albion success.
Plymouth have lost seven of their last ten and boss Ryan Lowe doesn’t cut a happy chap at the moment.
James Milton
Football journalist and EFL expert at Racing Post
Charlton vs Ipswich – Charlton to win at 19/20
Charlton have taken seven points from their first three League One games under Nigel Adkins, claiming impressive away wins at Doncaster and Sunderland in their last two outings.
The Addicks have a good chance of another victory in their push for the playoffs as they host an Ipswich side who have scored just 41 goals in 40 games this term and lost 3-0 at AFC Wimbledon in their last away fixture.
Ian Wilkerson
Sports journalist at Racing Post
Wimbledon vs Swindon – Wimbledon to win at 21/20
Both of these teams are involved in the League One relegation scrap but only AFC Wimbledon look capable of getting out of it and they should boost their survival hopes by beating Swindon.
Wimbledon are only a couple of points from falling into the bottom four, but they should be full of confidence after claiming a 5-1 win over Accrington and following that with a midweek 3-0 success over playoff-chasing Ipswich.
Swindon meanwhile look destined for an immediate return to League Two.
They have lost eight of their last ten league games, including each of their last four and they have conceded more goals on the road than any other team in the division, so it looks likely that they will be cast further adrift.
