Chesterfield vs Gillingham – Chesterfield to win at 4/5 with bet365

Gillingham’s strong start to the season feels like an age ago and the Kent-based side were sat 14th in the League Two standings ahead of the weekend following three defeats in a row.

That miserable run began at lowly Colchester and the most recent defeat came on Wednesday, at home to promoted Bromley, with the most worrying thing being the fact they have failed to score in each of those three reverses.

Chesterfield have also suffered three defeats on the spin but their home form has been strong, with five victories in six at the SMH Group Stadium, and they should have too much for the faltering Gills.

Aaron Ashley

Crewe vs Bromley – Bromley or draw double chance at 4/6 with bet365

Bromley are on a remarkable rise in League Two under the guidance of manager Andy Woodman, with only one defeat in 16 putting them to within the cusp of the playoff places.

Bromley produced an excellent away performance to win 3-0 at Gillingham on Thursday, which took their unbeaten run on the road to seven with them recording four shutouts in that period.

Crewe may be above them in the table but the Railwaymen are starting to show some signs of weakness, with only three wins in their last ten league assignments.

The hosts were fortuitous 3-2 winners at home to rock-bottom Carlisle in their last league fixture, having scored twice in injury-time to overturn the deficit into victory, and they may find an in-form Bromley a tougher obstacle to pass.

Joe Casey

Kilmarnock vs Ross County – Kilmarnock at 4/6 with bet365

Kilmarnock are rock solid at home, losing just two of their 12 games at Rugby Park in all competitions this season.

They should be able to get the better of a Ross County side that face a second draining away game in three days after they squeezed past an out-of-form Aberdeen on the road last time out.

Killie have won three home games in a row without conceding, against Hearts, St Mirren and Aberdeen, and any replication of that form should see them beat the Staggies.

Estrela vs Estoril – Estrela to win at 5/4 with bet365

Estoril only trail Estrela by a single point in the Portuguese Primeira Liga but just three of their 15 points have been earned on their travels, and they come up against a home side who excel in front of their own fans.

88% of Estrela’s points have been won at the Estadio Jose Gomes, with four wins, one draw and nine goals across their last five outings in Amadora. They won the corresponding fixture 2-1 last season and look good value to claim another three points on Sunday evening.

Gareth Freeman

Lecce vs Genoa – Genoa to win at 19/10 with bet365

Genoa have been quietly getting about business in Serie A with just one loss in their last eight games, a 2-1 defeat to Napoli, and at a big price they look backable ahead of their trip to struggling Lecce on Sunday.

Lecce have 10 defeats in 18 league outings and they’ve lost three of their last four. Genoa were deserved 2-1 winners at Empoli has time out and have been in fine form on the road recently with 10 points from the last available 12, with their one draw coming at AC Milan, and they can continue their rise up the table with victory at the Stadio Via del Mare.

Aaron Rogan

Angers vs Brest – Over 2.5 goals at 6/5 with bet365

Six of Brest’s seven Ligue 1 trips this season have featured at least three goals, with the visitors conceding 18 times in that run. They head to an Angers outfit who are struggling at home, having let in 18 goals in seven home matches so far.

Brest have seen over 3.5 goals land in five straight league outings, while Angers’ previous four at home have featured a total of 19 strikes. This clash has the potential to be end-to-end, so goals are the way to go.
