We’re all set for another bumper weekend of action across the UK and Europe and, as always, FST’s trio of experts are teaming up with Racing Post tipsters to dig out the very best value this Saturday.

Last weekend saw our six experts yield a healthy 5.48 units of profit across Saturday and Sunday and extra kudos goes to FST’s trio of tipsters, who landed all six of their bets.

That puts Alex Wrigley, Aaron Rogan and Gareth Freeman at eight winners from nine tips this season, with those nine tips producing an impressive 5.75 units of profit.

Can our form continue into this weekend?

Liverpool vs Burnley – Liverpool -1 handicap at 8/13

A Mohamed Salah masterclass helped Liverpool to their sixth successive league win at Norwich last weekend and there’s nothing to suggest a similarly dominant scoreline is unlikely on Saturday.

The Reds have won five of their last six by more than a single goal and following Burnley’s collapse to Brighton last weekend they have now lost eight of their last ten in the top-flight. Four of the last six meetings between these sides have seen Liverpool win by more than one goal and I would expect another to follow in front of a bouncing Anfield crowd.

Fulham vs Hull – Over 2.5 goals at 4/5

Fulham have hit form going forward, notching seven goals over the course of the last week. They face a Hull side who are reeling from back-to-back home defeats and the Cottagers’ impressive attack should continue to rack up the goals.

However, the hosts have seen both teams score in every league game so far, so back a high-scoring affair at Craven Cottage.

Doncaster vs Portsmouth – Portsmouth to win at 6/5

Portsmouth have made a cracking start to the new season with three wins and three clean sheets in as many games in League One. Pompey head to a Doncaster side in disarray this weekend and they should be able to continue their perfect run.

Donny have lost all three of their games and have managed just one goal, and they’ve lost their last six league games at their Keepmoat Stadium home.

Charlton vs Wigan – Wigan to win at 21/10

Wigan are looking a lot stronger after a busy summer recruitment drive and can move into the top half of the League One table by defeating Charlton at the Valley.

The Latics have performed well in a pair of demanding home games – winning 1-0 against Rotherham and drawing 1-1 with Wycombe. They look automatic promotion contenders and will offer a stern test to Charlton, who remain winless after their 2-1 loss at MK Dons on Tuesday.

Northampton vs Rochdale – Northampton to win at 19/20

These are tough times for relegated Rochdale, who can’t buy a win back in the basement and now find themselves short of numbers courtesy of the dreaded Covid. A visit to Sixfields would be tough enough at the best of times and these are very definitely not the best of times at Dale, who went down 2-1 at home to Forest Green last time out.

That said, not scoring against Scunthorpe in a 0-0 draw a game earlier was probably a worse result. The Cobblers have played three, won three and come into this on the back of a week off.

Stoke vs Nottingham Forest – Stoke to win at 10/11

Stoke City have impressed in the early part of the season and Michael O’Neill looks to have got all his ducks in a row at the bet365 Stadium. They handily beat Swansea City in midweek with the influential Nick Powell grabbing his second of the campaign and have the makings of a playoff contender.

They look far too strong, on paper, for Nottingham Forest, who have lost their first three Championship matches. Forest boss Chris Hughton is already under pressure and if that wasn’t enough, a rash of defensive injuries has left him with one fit senior full-back for the weekend.
