199/1 Experts’ Premier League Accumulator Tip

Tom McGarry

Manchester United vs Southampton – Man Utd & BTTS at 7/4 with bet365

After drawing with league leaders Liverpool and knocking Arsenal out of the FA Cup in their last two matches, Manchester United may now be turning a corner under Ruben Amorim and they should prove too strong for rock bottom Southampton this midweek.

The Saints are the only top-flight side without an away win in the league this season and they are cut adrift at the bottom of the table, although they will be buoyed by their 3-0 FA Cup success over Swansea last time out.

Given United are without a clean-sheet in 10 matches across all competitions, Southampton can score at Old Trafford, but that should not stop the hosts from picking up the points.

Aaron Rogan

West Ham vs Fulham – Fulham to win at 29/20 with bet365

Fulham have picked up victories at London rivals Crystal Palace and Chelsea this term and they look capable of troubling West Ham. Graham Potter’s Premier League bow as Hammers boss comes with his new side on a three-game losing streak, conceding 11 times in that run.

West Ham have lost five of their six meetings with top-half teams at home this season, while Fulham head across the capital on a nine-game unbeaten run. Marco Silva’s side have lost only once across their previous eight league trips and they can take advantage of the injury-hit hosts.

Henry Hardwicke

Brentford vs Manchester City – Brentford to win at 4/1 with bet365

It’s take your pick of opposable favourites on the midweek Premier League coupon with Liverpool, Chelsea, Brighton and Manchester United all appearing vulnerable jollies, but at the the prices, Manchester City rate the team to move against.

Brentford have lost only three of 13 home matches this season, one of those was the shock loss to Plymouth in the FA Cup at the weekend, but that was a much-changed Bees side and Thomas Frank’s men still dominated the game.

City have won only one of their last nine away games and Pep Guardiola’s men don’t look anything like 4-6 shots in this spot.

Gareth Freeman

Leicester City vs Crystal Palace – Both teams to score at 8/13 with bet365

Leicester picked up a morale boosting 6-2 FA Cup win over Championship outfit QPR in the FA Cup at the weekend as they ended a five-match losing streak, and they’ll be hoping to follow that up with a result against Crystal Palace on Wednesday.

The Foxes are generally good for a goal at home – they’ve scored in 10 of their 12 home games across all competitions this season – and they should be able to get on the scoresheet against Crystal Palace.

However, Leicester have the joint worst defence in the league with 44 goals in 20 games so the Eagles, who have scored in 10 of their last 11 overall, can respond and both teams to score looks the best play here.

Liam Flin

Nottingham Forest vs Liverpool – Nottingham Forest or draw double chance at 6/5 with bet365

Nottingham Forest are the only team to have beaten Arne Slot’s Liverpool in the Premier League and they could again make life tricky for the Reds at the City Round.

Forest have reeled off six consecutive wins in the Premier League, taking down Manchester United, Aston Villa, Brentford, Tottenham, Everton and Wolves and there is every chance they can avoid defeat against Liverpool.

The Merseysiders have dropped points against Newcastle, Fulham and Manchester United since the start of December, while the defeat to Tottenham in the first leg of their EFL Cup semi-final shows they can be vulnerable.

Joe Casey

Arsenal vs Tottenham – Under 3.5 goals at 8/11 with bet365

Tottenham don’t have a strong recent record in derbies against their rivals Arsenal but they could be facing the Gunners at the perfect time.

Mikel Arteta’s side have lost two cup games in a week, 2-0 to Newcastle in the EFL Cup and then in a penalty shootout to the ten-men of Manchester United in the FA Cup.

They have also scored just seven goals in their last five games as they struggle to find the net without the injured Bukayo Saka.

Spurs have also opted for a more measured approach in recent games, only one of their last five has gone over 3.5 goals, and this could be another relatively low-scoring affair.
