Only Turkey have collected more yellow cards in Germany than Spain this summer, and La Roja have already collected 15.

Luis de la Fuente’s side have committed the most fouls in the tournament with 83, 15 more than Germany did before their exit.

Spain are likely to dominate possession, but they have shown that they can be ruthless in defence, taking any means necessary to stop a goal. Dani Carvajal got himself sent off trying to prevent Germany from scoring in the quarter-finals, and referee Francois Letexier could have his work cut out trying to control Spain’s players.

Dani Olmo 1+ shot on target at 4/5 with Betfair

Olmo has scored in each of Spain’s last three games having taken up Pedri’s role in the side. The RB Leipzig midfielder is revelling in his number 10 role and he’s had six shots on target across the three games in the knockout stage.

Olmo has had 15 shots in total across five appearances and he’s improved as the tournament has gone on. Given his good scoring run, he seems well-priced for a shot on target in the final.

Phil Foden 2+ shots at 8/11 with Betfair

Phil Foden came agonisingly close to breaking his Euro 2024 duck in the semi-final against the Netherlands when his close-range shot was cleared off the line and a superb strike from distance clipped the post.

After a forgettable display against Serbia in England’s opening game, the Manchester City star has amassed 12 shots in five matches.

The switch to a 3-4-2-1 formation has helped Foden get into more dangerous positions and he should muster at least a couple of attempts at goal in the final.

Lamine Yamal 1+ Shot on target at 5/6 with Betfair

Lamine Yamal has been the star of Euro 2024 and no other player in the final can better his 16 shots this tournament. Five of those have hit the target, including his stunning strike against France in the semi-final.

He has tested the goalkeeper at least once in all three knockout games and in four of his five starts this tournament, so back the birthday boy to give Jordan Pickford something to think about.

No player has committed more fouls at Euro 2024 than Spain captain Alvaro Morata, who has been reprimanded by officials on 12 occasions across his six appearances despite failing to complete 90 minutes in any of those games.

Morata averages a foul less than every 32 minutes at the finals and whether it is by tussling with England’s defenders or working back like we saw him do in Spain’s semi-final victory over France, the 31-year-old is liable to upend an opponent on more than one occasion on Sunday.

Marc Guehi To Commit 1+ Fouls at 8/11 with Betfair

Marc Guehi missed England’s quarter-final win over Switzerland due to suspension and at 8/11 he looks worth backing to commit at least one foul in the final on Sunday. Guehi has committed fouls in each of the last three games, making four in total during that time, and may have to resort to a bit of gamesmanship to keep Spain’s attack at bay.
