Who to Bench
Everton, Manchester United, Watford, Crystal Palace, West Ham, and Norwich Players
FA Cup semi final weekend has seen three Premier League matches postponed, with none of the players from these teams set to play this weekend. Get them on the bench!
Divock Origi
The in form Liverpool forward was on the end of a horror tackle in the Merseyside derby. He was stretchered off and could be out for a while with suspected ankle ligament damage.
Jamie Vardy
The forward will be suspended for Leicester’s match against Swansea and could face a further ban for improper conduct.
Who to Buy
Harry Kane and Dele Alli
Spurs host West Brom on Monday night and we’re expecting a comfortable win for the hosts. Dele Alli and Harry Kane have been at the forefront of everything good about Spurs this season, and they bagged four goals between them last weekend. It might be worth putting a Spurs defender or two in there too as they could well get a clean sheet against West Brom.
Phillipe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino
The two Liverpool attacking midfielders bagged a goal apiece in their last gameweek and they face Newcastle at home on Saturday. Jurgen Klopp’s side are looking exceptional going forward at the moment, and these two could well get another few goals.
Sergio Aguero – Price: 13.5 Million
Yes, he is expensive, but he killed it in the double gameweek with a return of 26 points from his two games. He bagged a goal against West Brom earlier as well to take his season tally up to 167 despite his injury problems. Manchester City face Stoke in the early kickoff on Saturday too, and the visiting Potters looked awful against Spurs.
Southampton Defenders
The Saints visit the already relegated Aston Villa on Saturday. Do I need to say any more?
Alexis Sanchez – Price: 11.0 Million
Alexis Sanchez netted a brace in midweek as Arsenal strolled to a 2-0 win over West Brom, and this followed on from his goal against Crystal Palace at the weekend. He faces Sunderland and Norwich in his next two matches, so he could cause havoc there.
