Who to Bench
Dele Alli, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Robert Huth, Ashley Williams
Dele Alli and Robert Huth have both been retrospectively suspended for the remaining two matches of the season, whilst Swansea’s shining lights Gylfi Sigurdsson and Ashley Williams are unlikely to feature again this term. Sigurdsson has picked up a shoulder injury, while Williams is going to be rested ahead of Euro 2016 after playing every game for Swansea this season.
Romelu Lukaku
The Belgian striker has been on fire this season, but with Everton’s collapse in form we have seen him decline. He was dropped to the bench last week and it could be time to get him out of the starting lineup for the final few games of the season.
Who to Buy
Daniel Sturridge, Roberto Firmino, Phillipe Coutinho
Liverpool played exceptionally well against Villarreal in midweek and have been impressive in front of goal recently. Their three best attacking players are set to play two games at home this gameweek, so they should be able to bang in a few goals between them.
Dimitri Payet – Price: 8.5 Million
West Ham are playing two games at home as well, and if they are to keep their top four challenge going they will need a couple of wins. If anything good happens for the Hammers you can be sure it involves Dimitri Payet.
Eden Hazard – Price: 10.8 Million
The young Belgian winger is very much a confidence based player, and after a dreadful season in front of goal he finally managed to get his first Premier League goals of the season against Bournemouth a couple of weeks ago. He followed this with another against Spurs, and I expect him to bag a few more in Chelsea’s remaining three matches.
Jermain Defoe – Price: 5.3 Million
Sunderland look determined to stay up this season, and they have two matches in this gameweek. Jermain Defoe managed to grab another goal against Stoke last weekend and he’s a perfect bargain buy for such a crucial stage of the season.
Patrick van Aanholt – Price: 4.8 Million
As above, Sunderland play twice this gameweek. Patrick van Aanholt has proved a nightmare for defenders quite a few times this season, and with Sam Allardyce tightening up at the back as well he could get a few rare clean sheet points to go with his numerous goals and attempts on goal.
