DONE DEAL: Yves Bissouma – Brighton

Brighton have completed their sixth deal of the summer by signing former Lille midfielder Yves Bissouma for an undisclosed fee. The 21 year old Mali midfielder started 15 games for Lille last season and scored twice and joins the likes of Jason Steele, David Button, Bernardo, Leon Balogun, and Florin Andone at the Amex Stadium this summer.

Eden Hazard – Real Madrid

Unsurprisingly, Real Madrid have placed Eden Hazard at the top of their wishlist as they desperately try to replace the departed Cristiano Ronaldo. However, La Liga expert Guillem Balague has reported that Hazard is not for sale at any price, and reports suggest that Chelsea have already turned down a £150 million offer originating from the Bernabeu.

Hazard is known to be open to the possibility of a transfer, but he could be willing to give Maurizio Sarri a chance to change his mind.

Thibaut Courtois – Real Madrid

Real Madrid’s  discussions with Chelsea don’t end there though. In the same report as above, Balague reported that The Blues were willing to list to offers for Thibaut Courtois, and it seems that an offer has materialised. Madrid have apparently reached an agreement with Chelsea worth around £31 million for Courtois, with Chelsea looking to cash in on their number one before his contract expires next year.

Alisson – Liverpool and Chelsea

Liverpool have tabled an huge £62 million bid for AS Roma’s Brazilian shot stopper Alisson as they look to banish the demons from their Champions League final defeat last season. Roma are holding out for a £67 million deal though, and Liverpool aren’t the only team interested. Chelsea will hope to replace Courtois with Alisson, having previously given up on the pursuit thinking that the Brazilian international was on his way to the Bernabeu.

Chelsea are also monitoring former number one Petr Cech and Leicester’s Kasper Schmeichel.

Malcom – Everton

Everton are reportedly in advanced talks over the signing of Bordeaux’s highly rated winger Malcom. The 21 year old Brazilian was targeted by the likes of Arsenal, Spurs, Manchester United, and Bayern Munich in January, but Everton look the favourites to complete a £30 million deal for the youngster.

Malcom, who scored 12 Ligue 1 goals last season and provided seven assists, will earn around £80,000 per week if the offer goes through.

Gary Cahill – Manchester United

In a surprising turn of events, Manchester United have been made the bookies favourites to sign Chelsea’s 32 year old centre back Gary Cahill. The Blues are thought to be chasing Daniele Rugani of Juventus, and if completed that deal would pave the way for Cahill to leave Stamford Bridge.

Former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is thought to be keen on reuniting with Cahill as he looks to bolster the Manchester United back line.

Marko Arnautovic – Manchester United and Roma

After a busy transfer window, West Ham are willing to cash in on Marko Arnautovic this summer. The 29 year old Austria international is being monitored by Manchester United and AS Roma, although The Hammers will undoubtedly want to make a profit on Arnautovic after his £25 million move from Stoke last year.

Jefferson Lerma – Bournemouth

Bournemouth are still in talks with Levante over the signing of their 23 year old midfielder Jefferson Lerma. Reports are varying, with some saying a £17 million deal has been agreed and others stating that The Cherries would have to spend £32 million on the player. However, all reports agree that a deal is getting closer and that the chances are high that Eddie Howe will get his hands on Lerma this summer.

Diego Rico – Bournemouth

Eddie Howe is also keen to strengthen The Cherries at left back, and discussions with Leganes over the transfer of Diego Rico are ongoing. The clubs are thought to be some way apart in their valuation of the 25 year old full back though, and Bournemouth are considering Genoa’s Diego Laxalt as an alternative if the deal for Rico collapses.

Khouma Babacar – Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace are chasing former Football Manager favourite Khouma Babacar, with the 25 year old Sassuolo striker reportedly in line for a £12 million move to London this summer.

Babacar only signed a permanent deal with Sassuolo recently after a loan move in January, and while his potential was promising he has never really hit the heights. He scored twice for Sassuolo in his 12 Serie A games and his highest scoring season to date was a ten goal haul for Fiorentina in 2016/17.
