Arsenal vs Aston Villa Bet Builder Cheat Sheet
Bukayo Saka to score or assist at 4/6
Bukayo Saka is Arsenal’s leading goalscorer and creator this season and has 22 goal contributions in 29 Premier League appearances.
He has added a further four goals and five assists across other competitions, including a goal against Bayern Munich in midweek to make it two goals in the past week.
Ollie Watkins to have 1+ shot on target at 5/6
Ollie Watkins has had more shots on target than any other player in the Premier League this season, scoring 18 times from 42 attempts on target.
He has scored three times in his last two appearances and tested David Raya once in the reverse fixture in September. His two shots on target against Lille in midweek mean he has now hit the target at least once in 14 of his last 17 outings for Villa.
John McGinn to be fouled 2+ times at 8/11
John McGinn is the sixth-most fouled player in the Premier League this season with 55 fouls committed against him. He was fouled twice in midweek to make it eight of his last nine Villa appearances in which he has been fouled twice or more.
Not only that, but McGinn is likely to be even more involved in proceedings on Sunday, with the Scotland international expected to be pushed further back into midfield to deputise for the suspended Douglas Luiz.
Corner match bet – Aston Villa at 11/2
Arsenal may have had 25 more corners than Aston Villa this season but that does not justify the 1/8 odds on offer for the Gunners to win the corner count.
Mikel Arteta’s side have actually lost the corner match bet in two of their last five competitive games, winning 16 corners in total and allowing the opposition 17.
Aston Villa, meanwhile, have won the corner count in nine of their last ten matches, while the reverse fixture at Villa Park saw each team win three corners.
