Manchester United vs Newcastle Ultimate Bet Builder
Alexander Isak to score anytime
While Manchester United are struggling, Newcastle head to Old Trafford on the back of four comprehensive wins. Things have finally clicked for Eddie Howe’s men, with forward Alexander Isak key to their recent success.
The Swede has netted seven goals across his last five Premier League outings, scoring at least once in each game. He’s up to 11 goals for the campaign and he’s on target to top his tally of 22 from last season, so back Isak to net at Old Trafford.
Jacob Murphy to make an assist
While Isak has been among the goals, he’s not the only member of their forward line who has caught the eye. Winger Jacob Murphy has made four assists across his last five matches ahead of this visit to Manchester.
The winger has six assists in the Premier League so far, with four of those coming away from home. He’s set up a goal in each of his last two away appearances, so back the winger to make an assist on Monday night.
Kobbie Mainoo to make 2+ fouls
While Newcastle’s form has been up and down, their midfielders have consistently been involved in battles in the middle of the park. Their starting trio commit a lot of fouls, but they tend to draw even more. Bruno Guimaraes in particular has been fouled an incredible 63 times already this term.
Sandro Tonali’s strong form has increasingly made him a target for opposition midfielders, while Joelinton’s physicality has seen him commit 38 fouls while drawing 18 of his own.
Manchester United will be without midfield enforcer Manuel Ugarte for this clash, but Kobbie Mainoo is one to target in terms of fouls. He’s well-priced to make two or more, having already committed 17 across 11 starts this term.
Noussair Mazraoui to make 2+ fouls
Antony Gordon joins Newcastle’s central trio in drawing fouls, he’s second only to Guimaraes with 40 so far this term. He’s been fouled at a rate well-above two per game and his matchup with Mazraoui should add to that.
United’s right-back will be asked to push on in a wing-back role and that could compromise him ahead of a key test. The defender already has 22 fouls to his name this term, so back him for a couple more.
