Manchester City meet Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday in what should prove a gripping dress rehearsal for the Champions League final later this month.
The Citizens stand on the cusp of domestic glory too and Pep Guardiola’s sky blue winning-machine can clinch the Premier League title with a victory tomorrow.
Thomas Tuchel’s robust Blues will happily play the role of party poopers if required however, and with their FA semi-final triumph over City still fresh in their minds, Chelsea won’t lack confidence in Manchester.
Ahead of the action, punters will be looking to build their very own bets for tomorrow’s heavyweight bout – and below, we’ve compiled some tips with that in mind.

Match result market
In last month’s FA Cup semi-final, Pep Guardiola chose to bench some of his stars, including Phil Foden, Ilkay Gundogan, Kyle Walker, John Stones, Ederson and Riyad Mahrez, and his decision backfired when City were edged out by the Blues.
Guardiola is unlikely to make the same mistake twice and a full-strength City team – who have won a remarkable 20 of their last 22 top-flight fixtures – are our favourites to win.
If City pocket three points, they will be crowned champions for the seventh time in their history, and we’re backing a highly-motivated Manchester City to win.
Goal markets
Any margin of victory for the hosts is likely to be slim however. Thomas Tuchel’s shrewd tactical blueprint has turned Chelsea into one of Europe’s most defensively solid teams since his appointment in January, and City will struggle to mark their title confirmation with a glut of goals.
Just a single strike separated the teams in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley, and the giants’ Premier League rematch could be just as cagey an affair.
Both the Citizens and Chelsea have kept a joint-high 18 clean sheets each in the Premier League this term, and we expect both defences to come to the fore again at the Etihad Stadium.
Shot markets
Belgian midfield maestro Kevin de Bruyne always plays with extra fire against his former club, and the 29-year-old stands out as a great option to notch 1+ shot on target as a result.
De Bruyne has averaged 3.3 attempts and 1.0 attempts on target per Premier League appearance this term and the ex-Chelsea star mustered five shots on goal and one on target when he last faced the Blues in the top-tier.
On the opposite side of the dividing line, influential Chelsea schemer Mason Mount is an excellent price to test Ederson with at least one shot this weekend.
Mount’s 2.2 and 0.7 shots and shots on target per game figures for the campaign in the Premier League are encouraging, and the England man’s goal in midweek against Real Madrid would have sent his confidence sky rocketing ahead of another tough test at The Etihad Stadium.
Corner markets
Both City and Chelsea rank highly in the individual Premier League corner stats this season, though their skirmishes against each other tend to buck that trend.
Just nine corners were awarded to both teams combined in last month’s FA Cup semi-final at Wembley, while their meeting before that in the Premier League yielded an even fewer eight corners overall.
In fact, three of their last four engagements produced under 10.5 corners, and the same market appeals for their latest showdown in Manchester.
