Market Movers: Saturday's best backed teams (with 21/1 acca!)

Now back in Northern Ireland he turns niche stats into predictions for FST, while he's one of the few people on this island who is equally comfortable at Windsor Park and the Aviva.

Saturday has a huge offering of football, even after the weather played havoc with the EFL schedule. With a packed day ahead there are a lot of sides to back and matches to research, but just who are the day’s most popular selections?

Luckily, we’ve ran through the latest betting odds to see who the big movers are in the full-time result market across Saturday’s games. Below is a selection of heavily-backed sides which pieced together give us a 21/1 accumulator.

And remember, you can find the rest of our free predictions for today’s fixtures on our football tips page.

Saturday’s Market Movers Accumulator

Cardiff vs Coventry

Cardiff to win at 21/20

Cardiff are unbeaten in their first four games under Mick McCarthy, winning each of their last two. They face a Coventry side who have lost eight of 14 away trips so far this season. The visitors tend to lose at top-half sides and we see Cardiff being too strong.

Huddersfield vs Wycombe

Huddersfield to win at 13/20

Huddersfield have the seventh-best home record in the Championship and they face a Wycombe side who have lost 10 of their 13 away games this term. The visitors have lost four of their last five league games and should fall short at the Terriers.

Watford vs Bristol City

Watford to win at 11/20

Watford have the Championship’s strongest home record this season, winning 10 of 14 games at Vicarage Road. Bristol City have lost their last six Championship away games and they’ve lost at all four of the top six sides they’ve played on the road this season.

Northampton vs Burton Albion

Burton to win at 6/4

Burton Albion have improved their defensive record under Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, winning two of their last three to nil. With Northampton second-bottom in the table and in terrible form at home we think Burton will take this opportunity to secure all three points.

Cambridge United vs Southend

Cambridge to win at 8/11

One of the few surviving League Two fixtures pits second-bottom Southend against leaders Cambridge. Given the gulf between the pair, it’s surprising that the hosts are priced so generously for this one.

Cambridge have won five of their last six at home, while Southend have suffered four defeats in their last five.
