We’re just a week into the new Fantasy Premier League season and we’ve already seen one of the highest scoring weeks we’re likely to get. Breaking 100 points was a given in most mini-leagues, but we know FPL success and failure rests on more than the opening 10 matches.

Fantasy Premier League Tips for GW2
Liverpool vs Burnley
- Burnley have lost eight of their last 10 Premier League games, including each of their last four.
- Roberto Firmino has been directly involved in six goals in his last six Premier League appearances against Burnley (5 goals, 1 assist)
- The Brazilian posted an xG of 0.42 despite featuring for only 28 minutes against Norwich

- Sergi Canos scored Brentford’s opener and he won three bonus points thanks to having the most shots, tackles and interceptions of any player in the division

Man City vs Norwich
- Manchester City won all four of their 3pm Saturday Premier League kick-offs last term by an aggregate score of 9-0.
- Norwich have lost their last 11 Premier League games, failing to score in 10 of those
- Despite ending up on the losing side last weekend, Joao Cancelo had an xA of 0.75, while he also had an xG of 0.16 from full-back
- The Portuguese defender made three key passes against Spurs and he attempted three shots

- Only Man City (20) have won more games in England’s top four leagues in 2021 than Watford (18)

- Bruno Fernandes is yet to end on the losing side in any of his 25 away Premier League matches for Manchester United
