Predictions & Best Bets for Monday & Tuesday (with 42/1 Accumulator tip!)

With Europe’s Big Five leagues now on hold for the international break, we’re in that awkward period between the club football stopping and the competitive international clashes starting.

While we’ll have an eye on the Euro 2020 qualifiers later this week, there’s still action across Monday and Tuesday night. We’ve looked around for value in other leagues which don’t usually get a lot of attention, hoping that can bring us a bit of value.

Below you can see our picks and analysis for six games across Monday and Tuesday night. Together these six selections can be backed at 42/1 with bet365.

Monday, November 9

Eindhoven vs Dordrecht

It’s been a dire season for Dordrecht, who have found themselves bottom of the pile after 10 games this term. The visitors have lost their last five away trips and look set for a defeat against an Eindhoven outfit who have gone unbeaten in four at home, scoring at least twice in three of their last five here.

Verdict: Home win

Penafiel vs Chaves

Penafiel have had an average season, but their games so far have been entertaining. The hosts have seen both teams score in each of their last eight league games.

They meet a Chaves side who have won three of four away trips, scoring 11 times and conceding in all but one. We expect goals in this clash with both teams looking strong going forward, so both teams to score is our pick.

Verdict: Both teams to score

Cesar Vallejo vs Alianza Lima

Cesar Vallejo have picked up where they left off in Peru’s top flight. They come into this game with a 16-match unbeaten streak behind them. The hosts have been in form lately, winning four of the last five and six of their previous eight.

Meanwhile, Alianza Lima have lost six of their last eight matches, while they have been beaten in three of their last four trips. We expect their problems to grow in this clash.

Verdict: Cesar Vallejo win

Tuesday, November 10

Cambridge vs Peterborough

Peterborough progressed in the FA Cup at the weekend, continuing a brilliant run of form for the League One leaders. They have claimed nine wins from their last 10 matches, while they’ve not lost in 90 minutes across any of their last six games in the EFL Trophy.

With League Two Cambridge up next, we think that Posh are worth backing here. The visitors have scored seven times in two EFL Trophy games in 2020 and we expect them to continue that on Tuesday.

Verdict: Peterborough win

Bradford City vs Oldham

Oldham won in the FA Cup First Round at the weekend and it’s been a solid season for them in cup competitions so far. They’ve started off their EFL Trophy campaign with two wins to nil, while Bradford have failed to win their last seven in this competition.

Oldham have won four of the last five meetings between these two sides, along with each of their last four clashes in this competition. As a result, we think Oldham are good value for the win.

Verdict: Oldham win

St Johnstone vs Dundee United

St Johnstone have hit form in the Premiership and they claimed another victory on Friday. The hosts have now won four of their last five games, scoring 15 goals in that time.

They face Dundee United in the League Cup on Tuesday, with the visitors failing to score in three of their last four. Given St Johnstone’s scoring streak and their run of three wins in four League Cup games, the hosts should edge this one.

Verdict: St Johnstone win
