Premier League cards and corners predictions for Saturday

Southampton vs Leeds

Southampton corners match bet (most corners)

Our first selection comes from Southampton’s home game against Leeds and we’re expecting the hosts to take the most corners in this match-up. Saints have won one more corner than Leeds in total this season and at home they are averaging a solid 5.67 per-game, while Leeds are averaging 4.67 per-game on their travels.

Manchester City vs Burnley

Both teams to receive a card

Burnley have seen at least one player booked in six of their seven Premier League outings and five Clarets men picked up yellow cards in their last fixture, a 0-0 draw at home with Norwich. As such, this selection largely rests on a City player being shown a card and that looks to have a chance as they are averaging 1.43 cards per-game after seven matches. City have played five home games in all competitions this season and in four of those at least one of their players has been shown a yellow card.

Aston Villa vs Wolves

Under 10 corners

Villa and Wolves meet in a Midlands derby on Saturday and this fixture looks a good option for unders backers in the corners market. Villa have played three home games in the Premier League so far and in none of those games have there been 10 or more corners in total.

Villa are facing on average just 3.71 corners per-game overall and at home that figure drops to 3.33, while Wolves are averaging just 4.43 corners per-game.

Leicester City vs Manchester United

Manchester United corners match bet (most corners)

Manchester United have won 25 corners in three away games so far in the league, averaging 8.33 per-game, and should take more than their hosts Leicester on Saturday. The Foxes are averaging 6.0 per-game at home and have lost the corners match bet in two of their four home games in all competitions.

Norwich vs Brighton

Brighton to receive the first card

Brighton have picked up more cards than hosts Norwich and the Seagulls may well be the first team to see a player booked when the two sides meet on Saturday at Carrow Road. An Albion player has received a card in the first half in two of their three away games in the league, while in two of Norwich’s three home games the opponents have been the first side to have a player shown a card.
