11/1 Premier League cards & corners accumulator
Crystal Palace vs Aston Villa
Crystal Palace have conceded 5.77 corners per game and they’re playing like a side who have all but given up at the moment. The Eagles have little to play for and the fact that a large chunk of their squad is out of contract this summer hasn’t motivated them whatsoever.
Meanwhile, Aston Villa have averaged 5.69 corners per game this season and set pieces have been important to them in a strong campaign. The Villains have taken a big step forward from last term and they’re trying to finish on a high, so we’re backing them to win the race to five corners.
Betting tip: Aston Villa first to 5 corners
Tottenham vs Wolverhampton
The last six meetings between these two sides have produced 30 cards, averaging out to five per game. That was the case when they met earlier this term, with five bookings between the two sides.
Given that, a line of over or under 2.5 cards seems ripe for taking here. They’ve picked up almost 100 cards this season between them and we’re backing the pair to see another three on Sunday.
Betting tip: Over 2.5 cards
West Brom vs Liverpool
For all their problems this term, Liverpool have been incredibly well-disciplined. The Reds have been booked just 38 times this season, the lowest in the league.
Liverpool have picked up a card per away game this term and they’re expected to dominate possession against the Baggies. West Brom have picked up 10 cards more than the Reds this term and we’re backing them to pick up the most cards in this encounter.
Betting tip: West Brom most cards
Everton vs Sheffield United
No side have been cautioned more than Sheffield United this season, with the Blades picking up 65 bookings this term. They’ve picked up 36 of those in their 17 away games, so we expect them to pick up a couple more at Everton.
The Blades have remained competitive after their relegation was confirmed and they are one of the most foul-happy sides in the division, so we expect a couple of cautions for the Blades in this one.
Betting tip: Sheffield United Over 1.5 cards
Best value single – Conor Gallagher to be booked
Only Harry Maguire (11) has been given more bookings than Conor Gallagher (10) this term. The West Brom midfielder has played almost 800 minutes less than the United man this term, so Gallagher is a regular in the referee’s book.
With West Brom facing a difficult clash with Liverpool this weekend we expect him to be busy. Given how frequently Gallagher has been booked this term we think he’s excellent value at 2/1 to receive a yellow card.
