Premier League Round One Special Bets with 40/1 and 6/1 options

The new Premier League season begins this week with a Friday night fixture as Manchester United welcome Fulham to Old Trafford.

Newly promoted Ipswich and Southampton play on Saturday as the Tractors Boys host Liverpool in Arne Slot’s first game in charge in the early kick off, while Saints make the long journey to Newcastle.

Manchester City begin their title defence at Chelsea on Sunday and Leicester mark their return to the top flight after a one-year absence with a home game against Tottenham on Monday.

There are a plethora of enhanced prices, special bets and offers for the first batch of Premier League games and I’ve picked out a few that have caught my eye as we gear up for a huge weekend.

Manchester United vs Fulham (Friday)

I’ve covered the opening fixture for the new Premier League season in our dedicated Match Predictions section and have opted for a 2-1 win for Manchester United as the correct score pick.

As a standalone bet a 2-1 win for United is a best price of 8/1 (at the time of tipping) and Sky bet are offering 40/1 as a scorecast boost on a 2-1 win for the hosts combined with Bruno Fernandes scoring the opening goal.

They also have 2+ shots on target for Alejandro Garnacho at 3/1 (boosted from 9/4). The Argentine has scored in his last two United games and averaged 2.8 shots-per-game last season in the league.

Ipswich vs Liverpool (Saturday)

Ipswich face a baptism of fire as they return to the Premier League for the first time since 2002 as they host Liverpool at Portman Road.

Liverpool forced 6.8 saves per-game from opposition keepers in their six games against last season’s promoted trio – and in three of those games the keeper made seven or more stops.

It could be a busy afternoon for Arijanet Muric in the Ipswich goal and he is 6/1 with Sky bet to make 7+ saves.

West Ham vs Aston Villa (Saturday)

The late game on Saturday sees West Ham and Aston Villa meet in the capital as two sides with European aspirations clash.

There are a few options available at bet365, with a couple of single options given their Bet Boost treatment as well as a few bet builders. From the latter category, Villa to win, Villa most corners and the Hammers most cards at 18/1 (was 16/1) has a chance.

If you don’t have a bet365 account you can use the button below to take advantage of their sign-up offer, before checking out their Bet Boost prices.

Chelsea vs Manchester City (Sunday)

City have a fairly tough opener at Chelsea in what will be Enzo Maresca’s first game as manager at Stamford Bridge, but they are deserved favourites for the win and after that they play Ipswich (h) and West ham (a).

Paddy Power are offering 3/1 on City to win their first three EPL matches (was 2/1). The trip to Chelsea is the hardest of those three games on paper and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Pep Guardiola’s men open the new season with a 3+ games winning streak.

If you’re looking for specials specific to this game itself, bet365 have Erling Haaland at 4/1 to score first and Kevin De Bruyne is 10/1 to score from outside the box against the club he left a decade ago.
