Saturday’s FA Cup player special tips
Fulham vs Crystal Palace Bet Builder tips
Tips
- Jean-Phillipe Mateta to score anytime
- Antonee Robinson to be shown a card
- Raul Jimenez to have 2+ shots
- Ismaila Sarr to have 2+ shots
- Eberechi Eze to have 4+ shots
Crystal Palace have won their last five competitive games and have lost just twice since Christmas, and they can thank Jean-Phillipe Mateta for a significant portion of this success.
The 27-year-old Frenchman has scored 15 goals in all competitions this season and over half of these have been scored in his last ten games. He assisted in the Eagles’ 2-0 win at Craven Cottage last month and could make a big difference again.
Fulham’s left-back Antonee Robinson has made a name for himself creatively this season, hitting double figures for assists, but Saturday’s clash could see a less desirable trait in his game come to fruition.
He has been booked seven times in the Premier League this season and six of these have been handed out since the beginning of December, so he could find himself in trouble at Craven Cottage.
Those interested in the shots markets should keep an eye on Raul Jimenez, Eberechi Eze, and Ismaila Sarr.
Jimenez has registered 78 shots in 34 competitive appearances this season, averaging a shot every 27 minutes. He has had two or more shots in ten of his last 11 starts for Fulham, including against Crystal Palace in February.
On the Palace side, Eze had six shots in Crystal Palace’s win over Ipswich last time out and has registered four or more attempts in five of his last seven, which includes two outings from the bench.
Sarr hasn’t quite matched Eze’s output, but he has had nine attempts on goal in his last three games and four of his last five outings have seen him have at least two pops at goal.
Brighton vs Nottingham Forest Bet Builder tips
Tips
- Morgan Gibbs-White to score or assist
- Joao Pedro to score or assist
- Joao Pedro to be fouled 2+ times
- Elliot Anderson to commit 1+ foul
Nottingham Forest’s chances of making the FA Cup semi-finals took a hit with the injury to Chris Wood during the international break and, while he is only a doubt for Saturday’s trip to the Amex Stadium, the onus may fall on others in the Tricky Trees’ squad.
Morgan Gibbs-White has 12 goal contributions this season and has laid on an assist in each of his last two appearances. He has 11 of his goal contributions in his last 15 starts and could step up again on Saturday.
Brighton attacker Joao Pedro may have something to say about that, though. The Brazilian’s goal against Fulham earlier this month means he has three goals and two assists in his last five appearances, so back him to contribute.
Pedro is also worth a look in the fouls market after drawing a foul every 40 minutes on average this season. He has been fouled twice or more in six of his last seven appearances in all competitions, totalling 15 fouls drawn in this period.
One of the Forest players expected to commit one or more of those fouls is Elliot Anderson, who was reprimanded twice against Ipswich before the international break. He has committed at least one foul in 11 of his last 12 games and two or more in three of his last four.
