Danny Rose

26-year old left back Danny Rose has reportedly attracted interest from fellow Premier League sides Chelsea and Manchester City. The Englishman’s incredible form for Tottenham last season earned him the role as England’s go to left back for Euro 2016. He quietly went about his job, not attacking as much as he did in a Tottenham shirt, but nevertheless put in a commendable performance in every game.

Chelsea are likely to want to replace the aging Branislav Ivanovic, so the signing of Rose would see Cesar Azpilicueta switch back to his favoured right back position and allow Rose to take his natural position at left back.

Manchester City on the other hand would be looking to replace the aging Aleksandar Kolorov, as he is expected to make a move to Besiktas this summer.

According to Mirror Football however, neither of these sides will be adding Rose to their ranks as Tottenham are prepared to offer the left back a new deal to keep the 26-year old at White Hart Lane. Spurs’ other first team full back Kyle Walker has also entered talks over a new contract.

Cristian Tello

Southampton have already done some remarkable business in the striker department this summer, after losing target man Graziano Pelle to Chinese side Shandong Luneng for £13m, as they have acquired the services of ex QPR man Charlie Austin. The Englishman scored 18 goals in his only season in the Premier League and is an incredible purchase at just £4 million.

New Saints manager Claude Puel is wasting no time adding to his attacking options with reports indicating that the Frenchman is lining up a bid for Barcelona forward Cristian Tello. The Spaniard has attracted attention from AC Milan after spending a season on loan at Fiorentina, with La Viola also interested in signing the striker.

Southampton appear to be in pole position to sign Tello, but would be required to splash £10 million for a deal to be agreed. It is unclear whether Puel is willing to spend so much on a striker who only scored twice in 15 outings for Fiorentina last term.
