47/1 Star-Struck acca
West Ham vs Crystal Palace
Best bet – West Ham to win
West Ham sit top of the table after two games and they can make it three from three against a Crystal Palace side that have looked devoid of quality under Patrick Vieira.
The Eagles are yet to score in all competitions this season and have lost two of their three matches, while West Ham have won their last four Premier League games and scored an impressive 14 goals in the process.
Aston Villa vs Brentford
Best bet – Aston Villa to win
Brentford announced their Premier League arrival in stunning fashion as they beat Arsenal but they were less impressive at Selhurst Park last weekend and with just four wins from their last 11 away games in all competitions this is Aston Villa’s to lose.
The Villains have won four of their last five competitive games and could afford to rest many of their first-team players in midweek, while The Bees were forced to bring their stars on from the bench to avoid defeat against Forest Green.
Norwich vs Leicester
Best bet – Leicester to win
Norwich’s return to the Premier League has started how their last top-flight stint ended and that’s not good news for the Canaries. Admittedly they have faced two of the toughest tests the Premier League has to offer in Manchester City and Liverpool but they have now lost their last 12 games at this level, scoring just a solitary goal in the process.
Leicester may have lost to West Ham last time out but they have more than enough quality to bounce back at Carrow Road, especially with the hosts managing just three shots on target in the league this season.
Huddersfield vs Reading
Best bet – Both teams to score
Huddersfield may have lost in midweek but that 2-1 defeat to Everton extended their run of scoring to five matches in a row, but problems at the other end are still present. Both teams have scored in four of their last five outings and they face a Reading side in a similar position.
The Royals have seen goals at both ends in each of their last three games and in six of their last eight Championship away days, so expect goals at both ends.
Nice vs Bordeaux
Best bet – Nice to win
Nice were on course to make it back-to-back wins last weekend before their game against Marseille was abandoned due to a pitch invasion, but the conduct of their fans can take nothing away from their performances.
They are yet to concede in Ligue 1 this season and thrashed defending champions Lille 4-0 away from home in their last complete match, while Bordeaux have picked up two points from three games so far this term and haven’t won at Nice since 2014.
Peterborough vs West Brom
Best bet – Both teams to score
West Brom’s rotated side were blown away by Arsenal in midweek but their Championship season has started excellently and we can expect plenty of goals in Peterborough on Saturday.
Posh have shipped seven goals in their first four league games and face a Baggies outfit that have scored at least two in all their Championship matches so far. However, the visitors have seen both teams get on the scoresheet in three of their last four league matches and Peterborough have scored four in two at home this season.
Real Betis vs Real Madrid
Best bet – Both teams to score
Real Madrid have looked sensational going forward since Carlo Ancelotti’s return to the club, scoring seven goals in their opening two La Liga games. However, they had had their defensive issues and after conceding three to Levante last weekend the hosts should have enough about them to bag a goal.
11 goals have been scored in Los Blancos’ two league games so far and both teams have scored in five of their last six La liga matches. Real Betis have also seen goals at both ends in six of their last seven La Liga games, including both this season.
