Sunday 7th February the biggest game of the NFL season takes place in Santa Clara, California. It’s the clash of the titans as the number one offense takes on the number one defense but only one team can prevail and become Super Bowl 50 champions.
The Panthers were 15-1 during the regular season and are the complete football team. Regular season MVP candidate Cam Newton has led by example scoring a team high 12 touchdowns. Their offense has wiped the floor with two very good defenses so far this post season which included putting up 51 points against Arizona. On the other side of the ball Carolina has three super stars leading the way, linebackers Luke Kuechly and Thomas Davis who will play Sunday with a broken arm. Peyton Manning and the Broncos receivers will have to deal with one of the best cover corners in the game, Josh Norman.
The Broncos are led by veteran Peyton Manning who will be going down as one of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game. Will he pass out on Sunday as a legend of the game and lift the Vince Lombardi trophy for a final time? The key for Denver winning the Super Bowl is their number one ranked defense. They took apart the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship game last week. Von Miller and Demarcus Ware will need to get after Cam Newton and put him under the same pressure Tom Brady felt last week. This will allow Chris Harris Jr and Aqib Talib to get after the Football, but can they really stop an offense averaging over 32 points per game?
