Super Bowl LIX Predictions & Tips for Chiefs vs Eagles!

After another long and gruelling NFL season, the stage is set for Super Bowl LIX.
The Kansas City Chiefs will face the Philadelphia Eagles for the chance to win the Vince Lombardi Trophy in what is a repeat of Super Bowl LVII in 2023, when the Chiefs ran out 38-35 winners.
That was the start of successive wins for the Chiefs, who are searching for an unprecedented NFL ‘three-peat’.
Kansas have beaten the Houston Texans and Buffalo Bills in the playoffs so far, while the Eagles have navigated their way past the Green Bay Packers, Los Angeles Rams and Washington Commanders to book their spot in New Orleans.
Super Bowl predictions
Kansas City Chiefs -1.5
The Kansas City Chiefs are just one win away from making history this month as they try to win three consecutive Super Bowls.
Andy Reid’s team finished the regular season with a 15-2 record, but they failed to blow teams away regularly.
The Chiefs won 11 games by seven points or fewer, but that just demonstrated the quality of coaching under Reid.
Philadelphia finished top of the NFC East after a 14-3 regular season, and they proved they were the dominant team in the NFC Championship by beating the Commanders 55-23.
The Eagles have been so impressive on the ground on offence, with running back Saquon Barkley finishing the regular season with the most rushing yards.
Barkley has already run for 442 yards in the playoffs and scored five touchdowns and it will be difficult to keep him quiet this weekend.
The two teams have elite defences, but the Chiefs come up trumps at this stage of the season.
While some teams crumble under pressure and the weight of expectation, the Chiefs seem to grow under the spotlight and their experience on the big stage is invaluable.
Quarterback Patrick Mahomes knows exactly what it takes to get over the line at this stage of the season, and with tight end Travis Kelce fit and firing, he will look to target his close friend and team-mate on a regular basis to get the job done.
Philadelphia will have their moments, but in head coach Reid and defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo, they have two of the best minds in the NFL and they should be able to adjust the game plan to get their hands on the Vince Lombardi Trophy once again.
Dallas Goedert Over 52.5 Receiving Yards
Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert could have a big night in New Orleans as he looks to maintain his recent form since returning from injury.
Goedert was back in the fold in the final game of the regular season and he has since caught at least four passes for 47 yards in four consecutive games.
The Chiefs have struggled against tight ends all season, and with Barkley, A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith to try and cover, Kansas will not be able to lock everybody down.
Goedert caught seven passes against the Commanders and if he can replicate that, expect him to cover his line with ease.
