After their failed defence of the Champions League title last season, Manchester City get their fresh quest for the trophy up and running on Wednesday night as Inter Milan visit the Etihad Stadium.

Inter, who were the losers in that Champions League final in 2023, are fresh from a dominant Serie A win, but the new season has not started flawlessly and they face a massive task in Manchester.

To celebrate the return of the Champions League, I have priced up a massive 46/1 Bet Builder with Paddy Power, who are offering new customers 40/1 for the Citizens to get the win!

Back our 46/1 Manchester City vs Inter Milan Bet Builder here!

Erling Haaland to score two or more at 4/1

Injury derailed Erling Haaland’s efforts to build on a record-breaking debut season at Manchester City, but the Norwegian sharpshooter is wasting no time in trying to amend that this term.

He has scored an incredible nine goals in four Premier League appearances, netting twice or more in his last three games for the Citizens. He has 41 goals in 39 Champions League outings and a brace on Wednesday would take him level with Neymar in the all-time leading goalscorer charts.

Federico Dimarco to have 2+ shots at 21/10

Only Marcus Thuram (12) has had more shots for Inter Milan this season than flying wing-back Federico Dimarco (10). The Italy international has had two or more shots in three of his four Serie A outings this season and, looking back to last term, in nine of his last 12.

Matteo Darmian to commit 2+ fouls at 7/5

Dimarco’s opposite number for Inter, Matteo Darmian, is less attack-minded and is likely to be faced with a tough defensive task on Wednesday.

He has committed two or more fouls in three of his four games this season and is expected to be up against Jeremy Doku or Savio at the Etihad, who have drawn 1.88 fouls-per-90-minutes so far this season.
