Thursday’s Euro 2024 Bet Builder tips

Slovenia vs Serbia

Andraz Sporar to have 3+ shots

Slovenia forward Andraz Sporar had four shots against Denmark in their Euro 2024 opener and has now had at least three pops on goal in four of his last six competitive appearances for his country.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to commit 2+ fouls

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic committed four fouls against England in Serbia’s Euro 2024 opener and the Al-Hilal midfielder has committed 13 fouls across his last six competitive outings for Serbia.

Aleksandar Mitrovic to be fouled 2+ times

Aleksandar Mitrovic was only fouled once against England but the Serbia striker is likely to see more of the ball against Slovenia and he was a foul magnet through qualifying. He was fouled twice or more in four of his final six Euro 2024 qualifying appearances, drawing a total of 11 fouls in this period.

Denmark vs England

Trent Alexander-Arnold to have 2+ shots

Trent Alexander-Arnold is expected to retain his spot in the centre of England’s midfield and the Liverpool right-back had three shots from this position against Serbia. He has had at least three shots in each of his last three competitive appearances for England and at least two shots in each of his last five outings for club and country.

Jude Bellingham to be fouled 2+ times

Jude Bellingham was everywhere in his man-of-the-match performance against Serbia and drew four fouls from the losing side. He has been fouled at least twice in four of his last five competitive outings for England for a total of 14 fouls won.

Harry Kane to be fouled 2+ times

Jude Bellingham may have drawn a lot of Serbian attention on Sunday, but England captain Harry Kane was an even bigger target as he was fouled six times. This means he has now been fouled at least twice in six of his last eight competitive starts for the Three Lions and 14 times in his last three outings for club and country.

Andreas Christensen to have 1+ shots

Andreas Christensen had two shots in Denmark’s opener and the fact that all three of their central defenders had at least one attempt on goal gives us an insight into Kasper Hjulmand’s tactics. Christensen was also a regular shot-taker in qualifying, meaning he has had at least one attempt in five of his last six competitive outings for Denmark.

Spain vs Italy

Alvaro Morata to score or assist

Taking advantage of Paddy Power’s Super Sub promotion, backing Alvaro Morata to score or assist is not only good value by itself, but also offers a free hit at one of Spain’s excellent substitute offerings. Morata scored against Croatia and is often substituted for Joselu, with the Real Madrid striker and Morata having ten goal contributions between them in Euro 2024 qualifying.

Lamine Yamal to score or assist

Lamine Yamal has two goals in eight senior international appearances so far and may just add to that tally against an Italy side that has not kept a clean sheet in their last five European Championship finals matches. The Barcelona prodigy had six touches inside the opposition box, three shots – two from inside the penalty area – and created three chances including an assist against Croatia.
