Tuesday's 4 Euro 2024 Bet Builders with 50/1 England tip!
Before becoming a Sports Journalist for Free Super Tips, Aaron spent three years studying Sports Journalism at the University of Sunderland while taking in the Black Cats' 'glory years' under Martin O'Neill. Now back in Northern Ireland he turns niche stats into predictions for FST, while he's one of the few people on this island who is equally comfortable at Windsor Park and the Aviva.
The penultimate night of group stage action from Euro 2024 is the busiest day of the tournament so far, with four matches in total. We have all the action covered in our Euro 2024 match predictions, but I’ve been digging a little deeper into the individual player stats to pick out a bet builder for every game!
All four of those bet builders can be found below, including our 57/1 effort on England vs Slovenia.
Tuesday’s Euro 2024 Bet Builder Tips
Netherlands vs Austria
Both teams to score
Austria were really impressive against Poland after giving France a scare in their opening game. The Dutch too threatened to hurt the French, but they could only draw 0-0 in that clash.
Austria have seen both teams score in four of their last five games and the Dutch have scored 15 times in six games in 2024, so back both teams to find the net.
Xavi Simons to make an assist
Simons has supplied six passes that have led to a shot attempt for the Dutch and having been shifted into a number 10 role, he should be closer to the Netherlands’ finishers. Simons had 11 assists in the Bundesliga last term and supplied two more in the Champions League, so he should get an assist at this tournament before the group stage is through.
Marcel Sabitzer 1+ shot on target
Sabitzer has a team-high six shot attempts for Austria at this tournament and his switch to the left-wing helps him here. Netherlands’ right-back Denzel Dumfries is vulnerable defensively and Sabitzer can exploit that to get an effort on target.
France vs Poland
Antoine Griezmann to score
Griezmann has an Expected Goals tally of 1.8 from his two games in Germany and his excellent record in this tournament should continue with a strike against Poland. the Atletico Madrid man had three efforts on target against the Dutch and he should get off the mark at Euro 2024 at the third attempt.
N’golo Kante to make an assist
Kante has the highest expected assists tally of any French player at this tournament with 0.9 xGA through the first two games. His touch map shows him getting into advanced positions, especially against the Dutch in a tough test for the French. France should get forward more often with a big win needed, so back Kante to tee up a goal.
France Goalkeeper to make 2+ saves
France are heavy favourites in this one but they’ve seen Mike Maignan forced into more saves (7) than their first two opponents combined (6). Poland have scored in both games and carry a threat from set pieces, so back the AC Milan keeper to make a couple of stops.
England vs Slovenia
Harry Kane to score
Slovenia may have conceded just twice at this tournament, but they’ve given away a lot of chances. Aleksandar Mitrovic had six shots on goal against them in their last game, all of which came within the 18-year-box. For all the criticism Kane is getting, his goal against Denmark pushed him out as the favourite for the Golden Boot and he has 11 strikes across his last 12 competitive games for England.
Conor Gallagher to be fouled 2+ times
It’s been reported that Gallagher will replace Trent Alexander-Arnold in the starting 11 and his expanded minutes make him a target for fouls. The Chelsea man has been fouled twice at this tournament without yet hitting 90 minutes played. When you add in the fact that opposing midfielder Adam Gnezda Cerin has racked up fouls for fun, Gallagher should draw a couple.
Declan Rice 1+ shot on target
Rice should benefit from Gallagher stepping into the team, allowing the Arsenal man to push forward with Gallagher covering. Slovenia allowed a lot of shots on target in their first two games, including efforts from distance. That makes Rice a standout price to work the goalkeeper.
Adam Gnezda Cerin to be shown a card
Cerin has yet to be booked despite making a huge nine fouls through two games at this tournament. The midfielder will face plenty of runners from this England side, with Jude Bellingham, Phil Foden and Gallagher all drifting into his area of the field. If his foul count keeps up, a booking should be on the cards.
Denmark vs Serbia
Denmark to win
Serbia have lost 10 of their last 14 games at major tournaments and this group were particularly poor in Qatar. Denmark improved in their second game and made the semis of the Euros three years ago, while they had won eight of 10 games ahead of making an unbeaten start to this tournament. Given how Serbia toiled through their first two games in Germany, back a win for the Danes.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg 1+ shot on target
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has made a bright start at Euro 2024, with six shots from his first two games. Of those strikes, four have been on target. The Dane clearly isn’t afraid to have a shot from range, a tactic which has paid off at this tournament so far. Serbia give away chances and with Hojbjerg seeing his fellow central midfielders score in the last two games take him for another shot on target.
Serbia Goalkeeper to make 3+ saves
Rajkovic has been key for Serbia so far, making five saves from the seven shots on target they’ve faced. Denmark have recorded 11 shots on target through two games and they face a must-win clash here, so back them to force Rajkovic into at least three saves.
