WGC-Dell Match Play & Jonsson Workwear Open tips with 781/1 double
Golf punters turn their attention to Austin, Texas, this week where an elite field assembles for the last ever edition of the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play at Austin Country Club.
Players Championship hero Scottie Scheffler is the 17/2 favourite for the Match Play, which runs from Wednesday to Sunday this week, while there is also DP World Tour action from South Africa with the Jonsson Workwear Open beginning on Thursday.
Racing Post golf tipster Joe Champion has assessed both events and has put together a monster 781/1 each-way double.

A stellar field of 64 has been divided into 16 groups of four for the Match Play. They will play round-robin 18-hole matches from Wednesday to Friday before the group winners advance to the last 16, when the event becomes a straight knockout competition.
Players are seeded according to their world rankings, so Scheffler is the number one seed in Austin with the next available 15 players (Cameron Smith is suspended and Justin Thomas has decided to skip the event) all drawn in separate groups.
Of the top seeds, 22/1 hopeful Tyrrell Hatton has received a kind draw and looks to have a huge chance of at least progressing to the knockout stage.
The fiery Englishman is joined in Group 14 by Russell Henley, Lucas Herbert and Ben Griffin and he’ll be confident of topping that section having advanced from his Match Play group in three of the last four editions of the event.
Hatton has been in magnificent form, finishing fourth at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and a fast-finishing runner-up at the Players, and his Austin record suggests he should go far, even if Rory McIlroy lurks as a potential round-of-16 opponent. He can land the place part of the bet by reaching at least the semi-finals.
At the Jonsson Workwear Open, Adri Arnaus and Jordan Smith are the favourites at 18/1 but this is a competitive field and it could pay to take a chance on rising star Tom McKibbin at 33/1.
Tournament venue Steyn City held the Steyn City Championship a year ago and that event was dominated by longer hitters who were able to power their way around this long Joburg layout.
Despite his slight frame, McKibbin very much fits into that category and he’s taken the step up from the Challenge Tour in his stride this year, the Northern Irishman posting solid results of 25-18 in the last two DP World Tour events, both in Africa. This venue should suit.
