Atalanta Draw No Bet

Reason for tip

Atalanta have won nine of their last 12 away league matches while AC Milan have failed to win six of their last nine at home. La Dea, who are a streaky side, beat Bologna 2-0 in their last game and look more likely to kick on from that than their hosts.

Atalanta 2-1

Reason for tip

Atalanta have scored multiple goals in four of their last five Serie A away games. They are usually tight at the back on the road, but may concede once to a Milan side that have scored at least two goals in four of their last five league matches. A high-scoring clash looks on the cards with Atalanta picked to nick it 2-1 because of their excellent away record.

AC Milan vs Atalanta Predictions

  • Atalanta have won nine of their last 12 away league matches
  • AC Milan have failed to win six of their last nine at home
  • Atalanta, who are a streaky side, beat Bologna 2-0 in their last game

Blue and Black streak back on track

AC Milan should receive a stern test from Atalanta when the two clubs clash at San Siro on Sunday with three crucial Serie A points at stake. The Rossoneri are scrambling to keep up with the top six to keep their Europan hopes alove while Gian Piero Gasperini’s men want to maintain their grip on a Champions League entry spot.

Both teams recorded good wins last week with Milan mauling Udinese 4-0 at Bluenergy Stadium and Atalanta blocking Bologna’s path to the top four with a 2-0 win at Gewiss Stadium. But the important aspect from a betting perspective is that La Dea’s win probably means more because of their streaky nature.

Gasperini’s side can blow hot and cold for weeks at a time, such as when they won an incredible nine games in a row last autumn or recently suffered a three-game losing sequence. The fact that they go into this clahs off the back of a win should fill backers with confidence that they can justify their odds, which are almost identical to Milan’s for this match.

Conceicao’s club lack consistency

Sergio Conceicao’s side have won only one of their last five at the San Siro in all competitions, a narrow 2-1 victory over a Come side that finished with 10 men. Atalanta, having won an impressive nine of their last 12 away league games, look a good bet to at least avoid defeat.

Backing the visitors to win in the Draw no Bet market offers some security should Milan kick on from that last away win. But consistency has not been in ready supply for the Rossoneri this season, so their fans are probably expecting a let down.
