San Siro clash should feature goals

Over 2.5 goals is the bet when Milan host Como at San Siro in Serie A on Saturday. Como have scored in 13 of their last 15 league games and that should ensure a lively game.

Milan are ninth in Serie A, four places and 15 points ahead of Como. The hosts have 12 wins, eight draws and eight defeats from their 28 games this season, while the visitors have won seven, drawn eight and lost 13.

It’s a difficult time for Milan, who have lost three of their last four Serie A matches, although they did beat Lecce 3-2 last weekend. Como have also been in patchy form recently, with two wins, one draw and three defeats in their last six games.

Milan will be relieved after ending a three-game losing streak with a 3-2 win over Lecce last weekend. This was their fourth consecutive Serie A game with over 2.5 goals and Lecce had their chances, but didn’t make the most of them.

Milan were priced at 4/5 to win the game and have won 11 of the 16 matches in which they have been odds-on this season.

However, they have been leaking goals at home. They have failed to keep a clean sheet in five of their last six Serie A games at San Siro.

The last four Milan games in Serie A have finished with three goals or more and this is a high-scoring league, with an average of 2.7 goals a game this season.

Milan scored three goals in their last Serie A game and a 3-1 home win is an attractive correct-score bet. Como have been on the wrong end of a two-goal deficit in four games this season and both teams have scored in their last three.
