AC Milan vs Roma Predictions

Milan can seal last four spot

AC Milan were denied a derby victory over the weekend as they conceded late on against city rivals Inter, but they can bounce back by beating poor travellers Roma in the Coppa Italia on Wednesday.

The Rossoneri have been excellent at home this term and have only lost to Liverpool in the Champions League and Napoli at the San Siro.

Roma won at Udinese in their last away game but that was their first road win of the season, and they should find Milan harder to cope with.

A Milan win is a confident prediction for our main tip as they look good value at the current prices. Milan’s issue at home has been too many draws – six of their 12 Serie A home games have finished all square – but they can grind out a win over Roma regardless.

Roma have enough about them to keep this fairly close and a 2-1 home win is the correct score play. Milan’s last seven wins have all been by one-goal margins and they’ve managed just one clean sheet in their last five games, while Roma have only failed to score in one of their last 10 games and they can at least get on the scoresheet at the San Siro.
