Verona can claim a point in goalfest

Milan have scored in three consecutive Serie A games and there should be goals on Saturday when they host Verona at San Siro. Back over 2.5 goals in the game.

Milan are seventh in Serie A, eight places and 15 points above Verona, who are 15th with seven wins and 15 defeats. Milan have won ten, drawn eight and lost five of their 24 games this season.

Milan are unbeaten in 12 Serie A meetings with Verona and they were 2-0 winners against Empoli in their last league game on Saturday. Verona, on the other hand, are struggling to get wins – they have failed to win five of their last six games, although they did beat Monza 1-0 two weeks ago.

Milan have gone four home games without keeping a clean sheet, which is a concern for the hosts and they might also be distracted by the midweek Champions League clash with Feyenoord.

Milan beat Verona 1-0 last time but six of the previous eight Serie A meetings had three or more goals.

There should be goals at both ends, with 2-2 appealing as a correct-score pick. There have been four goals or more in ten of Verona’s 24 Serie A matches this season.
