Brentford Double Chance (Win or Draw)

Reason for tip

Bournemouth are enjoying a great season but they have lost their last two Premier League home games against Liverpool and Wolves, so Brentford should be hopeful that they can get something from the Vitality Stadium.

Draw 1-1

Reason for tip

These teams look evenly matched and with the stats pointing to few goals on the south coast, it could be that Bournemouth and Brentford will be involved in a low-scoring draw.

Yoane Wissa To Score Anytime

Reason for tip

Yoane Wissa has not been shy in trying his luck for Brentford in recent away games and the Bees striker could get on the scoresheet again on Saturday.

AFC Bournemouth vs Brentford Predictions

  • Brentford have won their last four Premier League away games.
  • The Bees have conceded just one goal in their last five league matches on the road.
  • Six of Bournemouth’s last seven home league matches have featured fewer than three goals.

Cherries may prove to be vulnerable

Few people anticipated that Bournemouth would be fighting it out for European qualification in the Premier League this season, but this has been a campaign to remember for Cherries.

Andoni Iraola has installed an intensity into his side which means they are a match for anything the top-flight can throw their way, but a win is not guaranteed when they entertain Brentford in the late game on Saturday.

Bournemouth have just been a bit sticky at home lately and they need to pick themselves up from consecutive league losses to leaders Liverpool and Wolves, and they also needed penalties to get past the Old Golds when they met at the Vitality Stadium a couple of weeks ago.

And they face a Brentford team who have finally discovered the knack of posting strong results on the road.

Bees have got act together on the road

The Bees were a soft touch when they were on their travels early in the season when their away form scuppered their chances of fighting it out alongside Bournemouth for a top-six spot.

However, Thomas Frank’s side have got into their away groove and head to the south coast having claimed successive road victories at Southampton, Crystal Palace, West Ham and Leicester.

Confidence will be high in the camp and the price about a Bournemouth win may just be a touch short so the value could lie in backing Brentford on the double chance where a draw will also be a winning bet.

Wissa looks a goal threat

With five of Brentford’s last seven games featuring fewer than three goals and seven of Bournemouth’s last nine also falling short of that mark, correct-score punters may be directed towards a 1-1 draw between two evenly matched sides.

Meanwhile, Bees striker Yoane Wissa could offer some anytime-goalscorer value.

He was on target against both Leicester and Everton before last week’s 1-0 home defeat to Aston Villa and has had 17 efforts on goal in his last four Premier League away games, so it would not be a surprise if he made his mark again.
