Real Sociedad’s season is in danger of petering out after they were knocked out of the Europa League by Manchester United and the Copa del Rey by Real Madrid.

With Las Palmas winning back-to-back games every point counts for Alaves, they are currently a point shy of safety as the season nears its conclusion.
