Atalanta vs AC Milan Predictions

  • Atalanta are one point behind league leaders Napoli
  • Milan have taken just eight points on the road in Serie A this season
  • La Dea won this fixture 3-2 last season at the Gewiss Stadium

Hosts to continue stunning form against Rossoneri

Atalanta’s bid for a first ever Scudetto title is beginning to carry some weight after some impressive victories in recent weeks and Gian Piero Gasperini’s men could register another statement win when they host an AC Milan side that has not looked too strong when playing away from the San Siro.

La Dea have won each of their last eight matches in all competitions, including away victories at league leaders Napoli (3-0) and Roma (2-1), while they have also won each of their last four Serie A fixtures at the Gewiss Stadium.

AC Milan may have seen upturn in form – avoiding defeat in each of their last seven matches in all competitions – but they have won just one of their last three on the road in Serie A and were held to a 3-3 draw by relegation-threatened Cagliari in their last domestic trip.

With 11 wins from their last 12 in all competitions, Atalanta will be fully confident of registering another three points on the board on Friday. However, they are facing one of Italy’s giants and an easy victory is unlikely so expect the Rossoneri to pull at least one back, with our prediction being a 2-1 home win.
