Auxerre can stand firm against De Zerbi’s side

Back both teams to score at Stade de l’Abbe-Deschamps, where Christophe Pelissier’s Auxerre side take on Roberto De Zerbi’s Marseille.

Marseille are ten places above Auxerre in the table and have a massive 21-point advantage over their hosts. They sit second with 14 wins, four draws and four losses, while Auxerre are 12th with six wins, seven draws and nine defeats.

Marseille have won 10 of their last 12 away games in Ligue 1 and have beaten Auxerre in three of the last four meetings between the sides. Auxerre, meanwhile, have played out four draws in their last six games.

Auxerre’s last Ligue 1 game finished in a 2-2 stalemate with Brest, after they let a half-time lead slip. This was the fourth consecutive league game for Auxerre with both teams scoring and, having been priced at 23/10 to win the game, it was a decent point for them.

While Marseille are odds-on it could be hard to separate these two sides and the 1-1 draw is a decent correct-score bet.

Marseille have drawn four matches in Ligue 1 this season and three of them have finished 1-1. Both sides have scored in Auxerre’s last four Ligue 1 matches and six of Marseille’s last eight.
