Barcelona to maintain perfect record

Barcelona’s league campaign suffered another blow at the weekend as they were beaten 2-1 in Cadiz, but they head into the final round of Champions League Group Stage matches in a much better position.

They have won all five of their group games so far, including a 2-0 victory in Turin on matchday two, to put themselves top of Group G and only needing to avoid defeat against Juventus to confirm qualify as group winners.

Juventus, in fact, need to win by two or more goals to surpass the Catalan giants at the top of the group, and that necessity to attack could open up a few holes in any already relatively leaky defence.

The Turin side have conceded in eight of their last ten matches in all competitions and have only won three of their seven competitive trips away this season. Barcelona, on the other hand, have won six of their eight home games this term and have scored at least two goals on five occasions.

Signs point towards another Barcelona victory here, especially after their 2-0 triumph in Turin, and we’re backing that on Tuesday. With Juventus needing to attack and Barcelona conceding in five of their last six home games we aren’t expecting a clean sheet for the hosts though, so a 2-1 correct score prediction is our choice.
