Blues look to consolidate top spot

Birmingham have enjoyed success in eight of their last nine home games in League One and they can be backed to continue that form when they host Blackpool on Sunday.

Birmingham are 14 places above Blackpool in the table, with 21 points separating the two teams. The Blues lead the way in League One and have won 15 of their 20 games this season, while Blackpool sit in mid-table having won seven and lost eight of their 21 matches.

Blackpool have been in patchy form recently, with three wins, one draw and two defeats in their last six League One games.

Birmingham have been impressive defensively at home this season, conceding just six goals in ten League One games at St Andrew’s, and they have kept their opponents at bay in five of their last six home matches.

Birmingham are in excellent form at home and a narrow 1-0 victory over Blackpool looks the most likely outcome, making it an appealing option in the correct-score market.
