Norwich to Win

Reason for tip

Blackburn are clinging on to sixth spot in the Championship but Norwich are one of a host of clubs who have them in their sights and the Canaries can build on their win over Stoke to get the better of Rovers

Norwich 1-0

Reason for tip

Norwich’s last two away wins at Watford and Luton have come by 1-0 scorelines and a single strike may be enough for them to claim the points at Ewood Park

Blackburn Rovers vs Norwich Predictions

  • Blackburn have lost six of their last nine matches
  • Both teams have scored in just two of the last 15 Championship matches at Ewood Park
  • Six of Norwich’s last seven away league games have featured fewer than three goals

Rovers’ form is encouraging chasers

The playoff picture in the Championship is becoming typically congested and Blackburn are providing hope for the chasing pack as they cling on to the all-important sixth spot.

However, they have had to deal with a change of management after John Eustace left for struggling Derby and six defeats in their last nine games has opened the door for many mid-table operators, including Norwich, who visit Ewood Park on Saturday.

The Canaries start the weekend tenth but have just four points to make up on Rovers and there looks a strong chance that will be reduced to one after their lunchtime Lancashire get-together.

Canaries can build on Stoke success

Rovers fans may take confidence from the fact they have won three of their last four Championship games on their own patch, but there was enough to like about Norwich’s 4-2 win over Stoke on Saturday to suggest they are worth chancing.

The Norfolk outfit have won just two away league games since the end of September, but they could prove to be the value pick in this one now the door to the top six has been left ajar.

With those two victories against Watford and Luton both gained by a 1-0 scoreline, that could be a potential avenue for those looking for a correct-score interest.
