Bologna to Win

Reason for tip

Bologna have won seven of their last nine home games and could continue that good record at Stadio Renato Dall’Ara against a Milan side who were dumped out of the Champions League by Feyenoord before being beaten by Torino at the weekend.

Bologna 1-0

Reason for tip

Under 2.5 goals has landed in four of the last five meetings between these two and also in six of Bologna’s last seven matches, take the home side to edge a 1-0 success in what should be a cagey affair.

Bologna vs AC Milan Predictions

  • Bologna have won seven of their last nine home games
  • AC Milan have lost four of their last five road trips in all competitions
  • Six of Bologna’s last seven matches have gone under 2.5 goals

Bologna rock solid at home

Milan have had a poor run of things recently, being knocked out of the Champions League by Feyenoord last week before losing 2-1 to Torino in Serie A at the weekend.

They are currently 16 points adrift of their city rivals Inter at the top of the table and now face another tough task as they visit Bologna on Thursday.

The hosts are level on points with Milan and have been rock solid at home recently, winning seven of their last nine matches at the Renato Dall’Ara Stadium.

Vincenzo Italiano’s side suffered a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Parma on their travels last time out despite winning the shot count in that game 16-4 and they look primed to bounce back in this clash.

The home side knocked Atalanta out of the Coppa Italia recently and have three clean sheets in their last five outings.

Low-scoring affair likely

They face a Milan side who have lost four of their last five road trips and may suffer another defeat on the road in what looks set to be an engrossing affair between two European contenders.

Six of Bologna’s last seven games have gone under 2.5 goals so don’t expect a high-scoring clash, the Felsinei are fancied to edge it 1-0.
